I'm not the best seamstress in the world but I have to say ...
I bought this pattern from Style Arc before it was offered on Amazon. I'm not the best seamstress in the world but I have to say these pants were a dream to make. I've made two pairs so far and am about to make a third in white linen. The first pair I made out of some spare flannel I had - to test the size. Right now I'm a solid size 12 and the pants fit me perfectly (much to my surprise!) I didn't need any alterations at all. I love the drawstring waist (and I think it would probably work well with simple elastic too.) I think the pants have a nice shape to them as they are not baggy the way some drawstring pants are - they fit nicely across my hips and thighs and snug in with the drawstring at the waist. I love them - best of all - when I wore them for the first time, my husband said, "Nice pants, where did you buy them?"

A welcome change
I get so tired looking at the US patterns producers who turn out new ones every season and they all look the same. This company is not US based although the patterns from Australia seems to get here faster than some of those shipping from inside the country! These patterns are just a little bit different and it’s a nice change of pace. Beware though the patterns come with little in the way of instructions and seam lines are includes but not as generous as U s patterns. Some basic sewing skills are helpful to adjust to the differences in their approach. But the patterns make up beautifully and give a slightly different and welcome look.

FINISHED Garment measurements are on the ARC website
Not a complete novice at sewing from a pattern, however, this pattern was extremely challenging because: There is no “ease”or finished garment information, meaning, how loose or how much “room” will there be? . The sizing was awkward because I run between 2 sizes. Didn’t trust that I’d end up with a loose, comfortable pair or pants so went up a size. The waist ended up very large. I added to the hip, and even though I did make a decrease adjustment to the waist - it was still large. I would consider this a high waisted pant - it sits above my belly button, so had to lower the front “rise” so it would preferably sit below my belly-button. YOUTUBE is great as I didn’t have a clue how to do this; the pattern does not have any adjustment lines. Basically, I tailored the pant. They are a straight leg, but a wide one, nearly 24 inches, so more like a Palazzo pant. Thought I would object, but the finished pant turned out really good despite my challenges. The button holes for the draw-string are very close together which does not allow for ease in ‘drawing" of the fabric around the waist Additionally the button-holes are positioned horizontally, not vertically which strained my linen fabric, so another adjustment to make button holes several inches apart and vertical. There were many considerations to make in following this pattern. I did learn a lot, and more importantly, the finished pant (adjusted the front rise or crotch, added to the hip, took from the waist, even added a back pocket, and almost forgot, had to make a seam allowance adjustment from the 3/8th to 5/8 to accommodate the linen fabrics heavier weight and using flat felled seams. The second pair will go better as I learned what the pattern requires for my specific body type, and thank goodness for that thick paper - lots of pencil markings on it now ;-). 5’8 140lbs waist 28 hips 40. I used the 14 size. Got a comfortably loose pair of pants. I hope this review is helpful for someone. My persnikity-ness regarding sizing is because the linen I used is 150 years old. Can’t replace that - no mis-cuts or measurement mistakes allowed. Whew. Will I make these again or buy another pattern? I’ll make another pair or 2. AND, just discovered on the style arc website, it INCLUDES the finished garment measurements. Wow, after all that. tzzzz ;-)

This was my very first project and it turned out beautifully. Very easy. Size just right. My daughter loves it!

It came without a measurement chart
This pattern came without a measurement chart to help you figure out what size to cut out. Luckily, I was able to find the size chart online. Otherwise, the pattern is printed on nice weight paper and is easy to read.

Sorry I bought this pattern!
When will I learn not to buy an expensive pattern without a good description. It is horrible! The pattern lines are so light you can't trace it. You have to trace it because which is metric and which is inches?. The lines of the sizes are spaced about 1/8" apart. The crotch is short, maybe 25" including the fold for the waist casing. There is no lengthen line, so I have to pull out a similar pattern to "guesstimate" the crotch. The width of the leg is huge; I can fit both of my legs in one pant leg. Not at all like the picture. I'm not a big lady, 32" waist, very little stomach, 38" hip, 5"5" tall. I want a straight legged pant pattern, narrow legs, without a baggy butt and not have to make five prototypes. The directions are worthless. I'll check Pattern Review and see if someone made the pants and hopefully wrote a review.
