Sad story , it changed there lifes for sure

I was one of the soldiers who got shot by Lopez on April 2.Lopez was in my unit.I remember a fellow soldier who went to my hospital room he had something in his throat and couldn’t speak,that was you John Arroyo.Great book.it’s weird you litterly went to all the same hospitals as me.my last hospital though after San Antonio was Tampa bay where I had to learn how to walk and was in Tampa till September of 2014 before the army sent me to fort Stewart Georgia for out processing.it’s weird I remember when everyone was seeing me in the hospital too and praying for me just like you.I’m glad you had your faith and your family to get thru this .for me though I never had faith even till this day I just wanted to live and I wanted to walk again and I did without faith and family I did it all on my own.Specialist Josephs

Everyone has a past that shapes up, but we don't have to let our past define our futures. John and Angel's journey is a perfect example of this. This Book is an awesome testimony that my wife and I beleive should be shared with the World. I received this on a Saturday around noon. I couldn't tear myself away from it until I finished it, early evening that same day. I just couldn't put it down! I found myself barely breathing reading some of the passages, it was like I was right there. It's a story of true miracles, perfect timing, which you'll read about and understand then. Well worth every penny. I will be passing this book on so others can experience it as well. One of the best reads, especially a true story, that I've read in a very long time!

An absolute must read for anyone needing a reminder that God still works miracles today! This book gives a realistic, multi-perspective of a real person struggling through life as he finds his purpose in life and ultimately God's grace, mercy and calling on his life. This book includes not only military aspects, but the reality of feeling unworthy, alone, and inadequate, yet learning that God has a purpose, plan, and is calling for each of us, no matter our past, mistakes and/or short comings.

I had a personal experience on the day of the Ft Hood shooting and am grateful to John Arroyo for telling his story.

John's book is such an amazing testament to prayer, hope & Faith. The first time I spoke with him, we knew God had a bigger plan & had made the arrangements.
