I used this tape measure as a hinge in small bags and eyeglass cases that I made from fabric scraps. So not the expected use.I cut the tape in the desired lengths and rounded the sharp ends and covered with duct tape to prevent cutting the fabric. It was ok. I used a magnet to clean up the sharp pieces.Just needed an inexpensive solution.

Great for small budget
Since the schools are not sharing things this year due to COVID we needed to purchase our own for my sons Ag class. So far this has stood up to all the abuse and use it goes through. Would highly recommend.

Definitely worth the money, visually impaired so being easy to read is important.

Very poor condition
Shocked by the condition of this item. Not only was it dirty and greasy but it smelled like a petroleum product. The packaging looked as if was many years old. I expect quality from Amazon. This was the worst product , by far, of all the things I have ordered online. Yo bad there wasn’t a negative rating to apply to this product.
