1) wire core thickness x3-x4 times thinner than lower category cable CAT5e. see pictures attached2) nearly no twists (turns) of pairs for noise reduction. see pictures attached3) "reel" is stuck together due low quality again. see picture attached4) Also cores are very fragile

I’m not happy with this cable. I had to cut one end off to hard wire it in for my project. I discovered the pairs are not twisted pulling the covering back 20cm. I would expect to see the wire pairs twisted as per cat 6 specification. Theres no twisting of the pairs in the cable.

I am only giving the product 3 stars as I am technically up on the build quality. I bought the cable as I have to work from home during this Covid-19 crisis. I connected the cable to my works laptop to try and get a better quality, speed etc. over my Virgin WIFI as I am having problems opening and saving files to my works network. The cable has made no difference. This could be due in part or as a whole to the cable or my Virgin router. I am not sure and my IT Department can't help. I can say that the cable was delivered ahead of schedule and looks the part.

We got this for wifi in the garden since our BT router didn't reach that far. After my data roaming had used up my monthly data yet again after so much time spent in the garden during the recent warm weather, I decided to purchase the wifi booster. It was so easy to set up and worked straight off. The video instruction to set it up was great and certainly made sure I got it right first time. Very pleased. The only issue is that I have to switch from the booster to the router wifi set up if I'm too far from the booster which maybe wouldn't be the case if I'd bought the BT version.

Just had new ultrafast fibre installed and although I had great speed at the hub I could not get a decent speed at the other end of the house despite having an extender. Decided to hardwire a network and this cable seemed to fit the bill. It was cat6, for internal use and a very competitive price. The fact that it came with connections at both ends allowed me to test the run and the speed before I put it in place. Great results, even better when it was properly installed. The cable was easy to run and terminate only down side, if there was one, is that given the weight of the cable it is easy to kink so a bit of extra care is needed. That said, overall a good cable at a good price.

Due to the layout of our power sockets, I needed a rather long cable to get the router and main booster connected, and this one does the job perfectly.> 5m so long enough not only to connect the router and booster, but also to go around a corner or two without any issues or requiring reordering the room.> Quite stiff, which I do appreciate - it's on the floor, and since it's shipped wrapped in a circle, the spiral pattern holds up against being pushed by a hoover or mop in the space where it's exposed, which for me translates into no shaking and disturbing the port itself.> Locking clips are solid and nice, and you get that reassuring, pleasant click of a cable firmly in place.> Smooth and easy to keep clean.All in all a definite rec.

I actually can’t describe what a difference this had made during lockdown. I’m a teacher, teaching a full timetable live from home, while my 2 children are attending live lessons and my husband is on video calls. My WiFi couldn’t cope so I kept getting kicked out of my own lessons. This cable means I haven’t dropped connection once since I bought it.

Good product. It works! I bought it to trail a cable from the router in our house to my fitness studio as relying on WiFi for live Zoom classes wasn’t so great. This has done this trick thank you. Only reason for 4 stars is that I find the cable tangles easily. I’m going to try and find some kind of cable reel. Good product though and arrived quickly despite lockdown; thank you.
