TimbermateWB Wood Fill 8oz Chestnut

A lot of promises were made about this product, but I did not think they were true. It doesn't stick to the wood like it should unless you cut it with warm water. I have another large group of products I have used over the years that beat this one every time. Wanted to try something new, but was wrong this time.

Probably been on the warehouse shelf a bit too long. I was able to rejuvenate with warm water - so no big issue. Note: There is an odor that remains even after dry. Not noxious but not really pleasant either.

Does the job but doesn’t really match my chestnut laminate flooring. Wish it was darker and more chestnuty. Going to have to darken it on my own which is what I was hoping to avoid by getting a “chestnut” colored wood filler.

Excellent product which can be stained if necessary. It also can be colored if necessary with water based dye. Does not shrink in thin sections.

Excellent product. I used it on a edge joined table top.took very little to do the entire top.it also takes stain well.

Trying to cover large areas of oak grain. I didn’t realize waterbased meant not waterproof, so I may have been mistaken. It wasn’t easy to work with but when I tried to paint over it, it mixed with the paint. I couldn’t use it. Had to sand down and find something else.

Stinks like it says. Does not shrink much. Will NOT hold stain! I tried to stain it a couple of times will my floor stain and very little change in color. And the stain was dark i was using
