Sony Computer Entertainment USB Cable

I bought a cheaper version of both the usb cable and charger. i have to admit it worked fine for the first couple months but then the problems started. Rule of thumb " you get exactly what you pay for" The cheap version connector messed up my ps vita charging port, I literally had to put pressure and force it in. it took about an hour to bring it back to life ( with a charge of just 5% ) every time and at the end it just gave up, it would not charge the vita with either with the brick charger, the ps3 or a regular phone usb wall charger. One day the connector went lose and I suffered 2 weeks without my vita. DON'T BUY CHEAP REPRODUCTIONS, NOT WORTH IT ! This product is amazing. it works more that fine with my iPhone and droid wall charger and it brought my vita back to life in less than 5 minutes! I know " its just a cable" but trust me, this is the one cable that is gonna last you for a long while !! Once again, nothing beats the original ! I only ordered one, because i wanted to test it out and it works great. now I am going to get 3 more for my car, game center and one for my wife... yup I'm a lucky man. In conclusion, this is a really good product for a modest price. Sony is starting to take more ownership on their product's accessories, like the vita charger and memory card. yes it is a lil expensive and for some people may seem inconvenient, but in the end, we have to admit that it's much better. I am an apple fan, so this change works just fine with me.

Received this cable in unofficial packaging but it does have the Sony logo so it is official. Works just like it should. Be warned it COMES ONLY WITH THE CABLE NO AC ADAPTER. Good for a replacement or duplicate item. I have no idea whether it was intentional or not but my package came with a bonus item and for that I am very grateful even if it was potentially an order mistake. Definitely would recommend this seller. Official Sony product for a low price with a bonus item that is always a plus in my book

For $5 this is a great deal and it works fine. But it's not an actual Sony-manufactured cable...I compared it to two actual Sony cables I already have and this one lacks the PS logo and was shipped in a mailing envelope sans any packaging. I already have one Sony cable used for regular charging, one I keep in my SUV for charging and this one I bought for PS3 linking. The Sony cable retails for $15.

I bought this cable as spear for the one that I already have and I don’t know where I put it most of the time. This cable is just like the one came with my PS Vita and it same quality. I use it to charging and syncing, it work fine. One not this cable id for the old PS vita model I don’t think it work with new model

These cables do work well for awhile. I have been through 3 of them now.. Keep in mind it's for my 10 yr old. He seems to like to yank them out instead of pulling them out cautiously. I showed him how to take them out properly and insert them properly.. So if this one fails I will have to lower the rating. Fingers crossed

The information for this item would indicate that it is a legitimate Sony PS Vita cable, but it is a relatively expensive knockoff of poor quality. I purchased the cable wanting to resolve cable problems I had with another brand of replacement cable that gave me problems, also purchased through Amazon. I was hoping to buy an official cable, but ended up with another cheap cable that performs poorly that I paid too much for. The main problem is that the touch screen doesn't work when the cable is plugged in. It is not a problem with the PS Vita, but it is a problem with the cable. I verified again by borrowing an original cable.

I purchased this cable to charge my kids PSvita while in the car. The description of the item says "PlayStation Vita USB Cable by Sony." The images of the item are of the cable in a Sony PSvita box. The images of the unboxed item show the Sony PS logo. It is plainly there. The item that i received came in a plastic bag with no logo. It was a knock off. It was not the item that i thought that i was purchasing. I am willing to take a chance on knock offs if the price is good. I would like to make the decision myself and not be tricked. The cable works. I have had the cable for a couple of weeks and the 3 times that it was used, it functioned properly. I give it 2 stars simply because it works. UnitedIntegral was the seller.

When first having laid witness to the murder of my former usb cable by my cat. I was looking around the site looking for a bargin AKA me being cheap. So, when I looked at this boy I though it seemed crediable with all good reviews and all. After all, if it failed on me, sure I'll just walk all the way to kmart and get one. Like I could of, but didn't cause of cheapness, alas. So, in results I got the cord. It worked and lasted up quite well. Still working, but somewhere along the lines, the wiring at the end that inserts into the vita latter worn out for me. In other words plugging the cord like normal doesn't charge unless you wiggle it around and/or position it so wiring and what not connects. Which means no "more yoyoing" my vita with this thing, sad I know. Other then that issue, it's a great product to have next to the official. Lastly, avoid tug of wars with your vita and remove it correctly, it'll last longer.

Be aware that you only get the usb cable. This is great if just your usb cable when on the fritz How ever if you want the plug as well you will have to pay an additional $9.99 bringing the total to $19.98. Which isn't bad But you can probably get then cheaper at wal-mart and or ebgames/gamestop.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do. And it work as good as you expect a usb cable to work. It fit in the usb port and into the vita very well.

It was a Sony branded cable in a Sony branded box, in other words the real thing. That's what I had paid for. Thank you.

I love this, cheaper, shipping was fast and furious and these guys had it when no one else did.
