It's a cable. Three feet of wire with a connector at each end. One end fits my iPhone the other fits the USB outlet on the side of my computer. Neat idea, huh? It works it's charging my phone right now. Only identified problem 2 cords but only 1 phone. Could buy another phone? Have to cogitate on that a bit! May have to update review later. Best part, I ordered it in the morning and it was delivered the same day! If you play nice with Jeff he will take care of you! Almost forgot, this cable replaces the one that came with my phone that has the same connector at each end? The one that plugs into your phone but nothing else? It's obvious Jobs nor Wozniak are around Apple any more! Great cable, right connector types for my use, delivered same day ordered, price includes a spare. I am throwing away all my cords and just buying more of these, they are that good. My phone had been slow charging in my car and on my nightstand and in the kitchen and turns out, it isn't my phone, it is all the junky cords I have been using. Buying many more of these to have all over the house.
