If you are looking for a light for your studio at a good price this is the item you want.First of all the light is lightweight and does not flicker. I am a stop motion animator with Legos and it is very important to not have any flickering lighting, because then your finished product looks choppy with different lighting exposures. Another great feature is that it does not get very hot over periods of time like ordinary lamps (which is what I used to use).I also would say that this product is also very portable as shown in the photos it all goes into a nice compact travel bag.This light also comes with a tripod. The quality is good for this light and can set up at a height over 6 feet!!!One other feature that I will enjoy with this product is the color exposure. It allows me to adjust the color of the photo without having to edit in my photo editing software later which saves alot of time.I also have to talk about the brightness of this light. As the three tier photo that I provided shows this light is very bright. I also did not change any of the camera settings when taking these three photos. The top was the full capacity of the light, the second photo was with the light at half capacity and the last with the light being off.Overall, I would say that this is a great product for those looking to update from smaller studio lighting as well for those just starting out with product/portrait photography. I also would recommend this to any stop motion animators as it is a huge improvement over what lighting system I have now.

I initially bought this unit for online meetings and training videos nearly a year ago. I've since grown to use it with my lighting setup for both product and human videography and photography. This affordable kit adds a valuable secondary light source that packs a controllable bang for the buck. The dimming and yemperate feature, although manual and not app-based, really allows youHowever, what most influenced my 5 star rating was the customer service of this seller.After a few uses, I had an issue with a cracked plastic ballbearing nut (the only real flaw with this unit but understandable considering its affordable price tag). I emailed the seller and received 3 replacement nuts from them within a reasonable timeframe.All in all, I'm still pleased with this purchase after a year of solid use. I recommend this unit for moderate workloads but can only vouch for stationary professional use as I haven't tested its sturdiness outside of my home studio.

Love it! It’s so easy to use and perfect for anyone who does a lot of social media work for a living. A few things they can improve on: the knob for the brightness level could be less touchy. It goes from bright white to bright yellow super quick; I usually like somewhere in the middle that mixes the two but it’s so hard to move the knob (even as slowly as possible) to get the right balance because it goes 0 to 60 real quick. The stand is also not sturdy enough and notice the legs can easily start sliding out if you are on bare floor. And this one does have a remote like others do, which would be nice to control your camera with while it’s on the stand. But I do love how the phone is positioned in the middle of the light versus others!

I am always a little underwhelmed with light output on just about every light I buy, so clearly that issue is mine and I'm not docking any points for that hahaha.The light is fantastic. Works great, comes assembled with a nice carry bag for the light and stand. Has a phone holder though I'd buy a mountable adjustable or phone specific holder if you plan to go that route. Its largely a plastic product (the stand is sturdy metal tubing), so a spill from a decent height could smash it, but if you buy and cut a pool noodle down the length of one side of it, you can easily manipulate it onto the light as a custom pad for when not in use. And in the bag.I would highly recommend this ring light guys... I don't write reviews... that should tell you something.I got this for my kids who want to make a few youtube videos. The size is very decent for the cost.

Great product! Specially this one in particular... here’s a couple point why I liked it so much VS. the other setups:1. Size, 16” Defiantly makes a difference in coverage area (couple of these can make your studio shine like a Miami Beach)2. Adjustable brightness along with cold/warm control - very handy when it comes to day/night filming3. Phone holder rotates from landscape to portrait, so you don’t have to mess with replacement. Great feature for blogers!4. Tripod was the best part - seller included tripod with easy release locks - people from the industry would understand (time savor)...I didn’t find any CONS so far, but would nice if manufacture build a couple USB ports, so you could keep devices powered up... the worst scenario is when you’re in the middle of stream and you phone is going down :))Cheers! Great stuff - will defiantly buy couple more!

This light is even more straightforward than the other bigger brand I’ve seen from amazon. I’ve purchased one ring light for each of my photo/stream locations and I like this one better. On the control sideThere are only three adjustments you can make. 1.) Power Switch, 2.) Brightness and 3.) Color Temperature. I also genuinely appreciate that I don’t have a power brick attached to this cord for this unit. One of my favorite features on this is the color temperature adjustment. I have aRing light that has plastic panels to adjust between two temperatures, white light and orange/warm. This light uses an adjustable knob to give you the freedom of less to jumble that way! I’ll do an unboxing video and demonstration of these features. I have this set up for my streaming desk and it’s great how skinny a profile the stand has.
