The monopod is well made and feels really sturdy. A 1/4" thread screw attachment. So I was pretty pleased with it. The issue for me is its a bit short for me. At full extension it 56" log or 4' 8" tall and I am 6' tall. I have to stoop quite a bit to use it. I am using the monopod with binoculars with an adapter that probably adds another 3' to the height but I think it needs another 12" of length to suit me and I could them drop it down a little. As I said nothing wrong wit the contraction and if you are on the shorter side yourself it could work for you. I will have to get a tripod extender.

Bought this and a Vortex adapter for my binoculars. Great for backpacking when you don’t feel like packing a tripod and spotting scope. Very nice quality monopod.

I love this monopod. It’s sturdy and the grip padding is perfect. Carrying one of these around is so much easier and effective than a traditional tripod. It’s pretty lightweight and comes with a strap to wear around your wrist. The only thing that I would criticize is when you pull out the legs to raise it there’s nothing stopping the leg from coming out completely if you pull out too far.

I absolutely love this monopod! It's a very nice size and is super light, making it easy to take on trips with me. I can already tell I am going to use this more than my traditional tripod. I love that the height is easily adjustable and it works great with both my binoculars and my spotting scope for birding.
