Generously sized, 2-tiered rack; ez assembly, sturdy + holds many tools (over 20 so far)
This review is for the large, rectangular Deluxe Tower (not the Corner Tower)I'm very happy to have found this tower-rack for long-handled tools and equipment. I was looking for something to help organize all of my household mops, brooms, and various types of squeegees, scrub brushes, dusters and other long-handled items that just wouldn't fit in my tiny broom closet and were either cluttering up my kitchen or getting lost out in the garage. I found several pricey steel options before I ran across this far more affordable version made by Rubbermaid. I have been purchasing Rubbermaid products for many years, so I didn't hesitate to order this rack. It arrived very quickly and just as promised, was very easy to put together. It only took a couple of minutes, and I didn't even need any tools. Even though it is made of plastic it is not flimsy in the least. Right now it is holding over 20 assorted tools right now + a couple of those very heavy steel dust-pans and there is room for quite a few more. There is also space for my mop bucket on the floor. All of these implements are light-weight so the unit very stable and rolls easily. I am sure I would need to load it with more attention to spacing and balance if I was storing heavy shovels and rakes and such in the garage or work shed but it seems as if would be great to use in that capacity as well. I am keeping this one on my enclosed back porch so I can access anything I need with no hassle. I think it is definitely worth the modest price.

Christmas gift for family member with messy garage
My brother is one of those people that seems to already have everything you needs. So it took me a while looking around his house to come up with something that he could actually use. After walking through his garage and Almost taking a âheaderâ on all of the brooms, shovels, tool, etc. scattered on the floor in front of the wall that was supposed to be their homeâ- I had found the gift for him. đProsâ contrary to what other people have said, I found it to be sturdy with lots of room to hold the things itâs designed for. Yes itâs made out of plastic. So yes it has the potential of collapsing if used improperly. But if the user has some âCommon Senseâ the key is to balance the load. Of course itâs going to collapse if you put 15 heavy shovels on one side. It assembles in about a minute and a half and the wheels do you let you roll it around to different locations as long as you Take it slow and donât try to run races with it. I was initially concerned about the curved front legs. But besides being fashionable, this actually works well if you follow the directions and put the right type of tool in the right area. Lastly, when choosing this item I specifically looked for the height between the bottom shelf and the top support. This one has enough height to support tools with long handles. If someone were to purchase the other ones that are very short, the tools would fall out because they all be top-heavy.Cons- I canât think of anything for the product itself. But I do have one suggestion for the Amazon people. It seems that anytime you buy anything that requires assembly, Amazon automatically sends out a offer to have someone come out and assemble it. I found that extremely funny for this particular item. It literally presses together with no tools in about a minute and a half. However they did give me the choice to pay approximately $200 for someone to come out and assemble it for me. Perhaps this product should be taken off of the âsend an assembly offerâ email list. Letâs face it⌠Anyone that canât figure out how to put this together has no business owning tools in the first place. đ

Not all plastic is lightweight
I would like to start by dispelling the impression that just because these are plastic that they are flimsy. Like anything, how suited something is for you is entirely dependent on how you plan to use it. Because of the design of inserting items with long handles like brooms upside down I think it is entirely adequate for the task. If your intent is to use it for heavy garden tools like shovels, axes, pitchforks, etc. then no, this wouldnât be the right product and I wouldnât expect to find something rugged enough for under thirty bucks, that just wouldnât be reasonable.I am fortunate that my new house has a very nice combination workshop and storage shed right outside the back door. That is such a better setup for me that using my garage for such things like I did in my old house. The shed is larger than average and I am retrofitting it to maximize the usefulness of every square inch of it. One wonderful luxury for me is it has a corner that is perfect to store all of my brooms, mops and vacuums and related cleaning products instead of them cluttering my kitchen or laundry room. Being a corner space this rack is a great fit and lets me store the maximum number of items in a minimal amount of floor space. It has holes in the sides that let me secure it directly to the 2x4âs of the shed so there is no way the rack can tip over. And although the shed has a ten foot ceiling I donât have ten foot arms so the 20â height is just right to hold the tools upright but yet they are very easy to pull out to use them.I looked at dozens of similar options and none of them are as efficiently designed. They are either too tall, which makes them difficult to lift the tools up and out of the holes, and also makes them more likely to tip over. And most of the other brands try to do too many things, the Rubbermaid corner rack is mostly just round holes with corresponding round indentations in the base to hold the item in place without tipping. Yes it is plastic but it is a heavy duty grade of plastic that is suitable for what itâs intended to do.In my opinion it could have been more useful if they had designed it with more of the smaller holes that are the size of a standard broom handle or mop. There are only a few of those and then an assortment of larger holes and slots that are less useful for common household items. My only question is where they came up with saying it holds 30 tools. Thatâs a stretch, there are only really half as many usable holes and unless you are storing pool cues they arenât taking into account that mops and brooms canât be jammed in close together, you need room to accommodate the working end of the tool. I would say it holds about 15 long handled items comfortably. When considering this thing keep your expectations reasonable, it may not be as good as it could be but it is definitely well worth what they are asking for it.

Does the trick
This organizer is really nice! There really isnât any building, you just snap in the legs and wheels and itâs put together in less than a minute. You can store a bunch of things on her. I also love the fact that it has wheels and itâs super easy to move around. Itâs really light weight and very easy to move around. If you want to save a space get this guy.
