Iโm glad I did โ this projector really does manage to help capture some of the feel of watching movies at the theater. It manages to project a clear image on a screen larger than a large-screen television for a much lower price. The brightness of the lamp is impressive โ while it wonโt hold up in a well-sunlit room, it still produces quite a visible image in medium lighting (though really, darkness is better and more movie-theater like). Okay, now for the critiques. It does have a bunch of different kind of connections in the back for different kinds of inputs, but I would really have preferred a few more HDMI inputs. I guess I saw the VGA input as a waste of space; perhaps someone somewhere still uses devices requiring a VGA connection but at this point in time such owners should just expect to get an adaptor. Also, the internal speaker is adequate - it is about as good as most television internal speakers - but expect to use at least a sound bar to get better audio with better range into the bass area of the spectrum. For me, these are minor issues and for the price the device has a very high quality to cost ratio. Overall, Iโm very happy to be able to watch movies, television, and other video in a manner that helps bring the movie-theater experience to home. Also, while I would normally suggest using a ceiling mount, I had a tall enough armoire that I was able to set it up high enough for it to work well for my needs. Please note, however, if you do something like this you wonโt want it set up flat, so you will need spacers on which to place the legs so it can be angled downward โ see the picture Iโm including as an example. Review: Amazing projector! Sooo Worth it! - I needed a projector to set up a movie theater area in our sunroom due to covid making it hard to go out. This had the best reviews and I do not regret buying at all!!! Amazing quality videos/movies. Have used it multiple times now and this is probably the best Iโve seen in this price range. This is my second projector Iโve ever used and with a good quality screen, donโt look elsewhere! Excited for the many movie nights weโll have! I just plug my fire stick onto the back and it works perfectly. Has another HDMI and VGA connector, so I can simultaneously have multiple sources hooked up. Very easy to use, the touchscreen buttons are a nice touch to the model and you can access most of the things from there but also comes with a remote. Was a breeze to set up, took a total of 15 minutes and good to go. Sound could be improved but I was shocked at how loud it is built in! Will get a surround system next. But very satisfied with this order. Highly recommend to all my friends, family and anybody looking to buy a projector

Great value, strong performance, Friday night saver!
This is a really nice projector. We've exclusively used it outdoors and only a half dozen times or so. But usually for two or three movies consecutively reach time; social distancing back yard movie nights ๐ฟ. The picture quality is clear. Friends and neighbors have commented on the clear picture quality, too. Colors are vivid for for the application. I wish the throw was longer. I need to set it up about 14' away to fill the screen with a clear picture. The built-in speakers surprised me. Not outstanding sounds quality, but loud and clear enough. Biggest issue is getting the sound out using any of my external speaker products (especially my sound bar). I got it to work the first time and never again. Which can be frustrating with riotous kids at your back ominously chanting, ready to burn you at the stake for delaying their entertainment. I've resorted to just bluetooth connecting my fire stick to the sound bar and playing the video with the projector. That's worked well enough to convince the mob lay down their pitch forks. But I'd rather use the HDMI connection, especially when playing from a video source that doesn't have bluetooth. Over all, I'm happy with the product and the value. It's taken the sting out of not being able to go to the theater and helped avoid any incidents.

Nice looking budget 1080p native projector
I have a LG PH150b already and buying this one to upgrade to 1080p native. 1. I did a lot of research and I donโt want spend over $250, so my choice has excluded LG, Epson, Optoma etc brands. Among all those ~200 dollar projectors, this one is the prettiest! 2. I have used it days and nights since I received it by connecting both Roku stick+ and google chrome cast to it. (Glad it offered 2 HDMI and 2 USB so I donโt have to connect either roku or chrome cast to the wall.) Roku can detect its display type and told me itโs 1080p, so its native not faking. 3. Brightness. Since I came from lg ph150 which is 130 lumens, I am very happy about this one, but Please donโt misunderstand the 6000/7000lux on the product page, itโs different unit. I took video to show you both projectors playing Mission Impossible with/without room light, in the video the first section is the new projector with light, 2nd is new without light, 3rd is the lg with light, 4th is the lg without light. So you can get some reference points. With my experience, you can use it in daylight with some curtains, should be able to enjoy the watching. Evening, no problem at all. 4. The speaker is loud. Cons, I hope they can provide both vertical and horizontal keystones, this one just has vertical manual, but very easy to access and adjust. Also the corner image quality is not as sharp as the center. Overall I enjoy my selection and I think itโs one of the best choice in the $200 price range.

Excellent Projector - Pandemic Outdoor Movie Nights
We purchased this projector to use for outdoor movie nights during the pandemic. This way friends can stop by, stay socially distanced, and we can still enjoy group activities safely during these trying times. What follows is my critique of the projector. A. Video Quality Video quality is great - we had no issues with this. I will preface this by saying that this is a light projector - the room or environment needs to be dark in order for it to look great. If you are not in a dark environment, the projector is not going to perform as well. We stream from a ROKU device attached directly to the unit at 1080p. b. Projector Quality Project seems to be mostly made of plastic, but feels very solid. c. Screen Needed We utilized a freestanding 105 inch projector screen from TaoTronics. It worked great, and this unit needed to be about 10-15 feet away. d. Sound Quality Internal speakers are OK for inside use. Outside, we opted to utilize a spare PC Speaker set that we had with two speakers and a sub-woofer. The device was able to accommodate this using it's 3.5mm speaker output. Overall Impressions This is a great little projector. At first, the thought of funding an outdoor movie night seemed daunting. We were expecting to spend hundreds on just a projector alone. Along came GooDee with a quality product at an amazing price. Couldn't be a happier.

Great Price for a Projector
I was looking for a low cost projector for use outside for family movie nights. After doing some research, I decided to purchase the GooDee BL98. Setup was pretty easy and it came with everything that I needed. Upon first use, everyone was very impressed with the brightness and picture quality. This is my first projector so I am not an expert, but I thought it looked great, especially for the price. I use a seperate speaker for sound because I use it outside, but the built in speaker is likely fine for indoor use in a conference room setting. The only small point of confusion for me was when I was trying to watch a movie from an SD card. After selecting the SD card using the input button, the projector opens the SD card in a file viewer and you can easily navigate the folders. I think I had to push the input button again to start the movie full screen. Just something to keep in mind if you buy one, but not an issue. Some the documentation is a little hard to understand, but it wasn't really a major issue. I am very happy with the purchase. I'm hoping it has good reliability long term, but so far it's been great.

Large Bright Sharp 1080p Picture at an Affordable Price
Nice projector for the price. I was especially happy with the size and brightness of the images as well as sharpness from this projector. For the price this is a projector i can recommend with one main caveat being the picture quality. Colors are not really pleasing out of the box let alone accurate. You will have to tune the image to get something more tolerable. Projector was not great with dynamic range either, shows like Luther were mostly unwatchable unless i turned down the contrast which would wash out the image. This projecter does still put out a large, bright, 1080p image that looks sharp for an affordable price so that is worth something. Plenty of ports, although dont be lured in by the micro sd and usb ports. It only reads exFat (or was it Fat32 im sorry i dont remember) so be sure to have a linux/windows pc to format a usb. The projector menu is simple to navigate. The sound from the projector is not noteworthy especially when it is competing with the projector's fan. You should connect to a speaker. Speaking of connection, there is no BT but any required cables except an AUX are provided. A cheap carrying bag is provided wven though this would not be a projector i would be carrying around. .

Exactly what I was looking for
I set out to find a decent projector that we could use to have movie night in the backyard or even watch the occasional sporting event with. I knew for my "around $200" price limit, that I wasn't going to get something that was going to knock my socks off or anything like that, but what I found with the GooDee BL98 did just that. The set up couldn't have been easier. I plugged it in the projector, plugged in both my phone and Chromebook using a USB C to HDMI adapter, changed the input, and the test video I was using came right up. Later I plugged in my Amazon Fire TV stick, which I will stick with because it worked brilliantly. I just had the projector pointed at the wall and I had no idea how far back I was supposed to have it set up, but when the video came up and I got the image in focus, I was all smiles with what turned out to be a 100" picture. I was also pleasantly surprised at the brightness of the unit. It was around 1:00 in the afternoon and without our drapes being closed, I could clearly see the video being played. While it wasn't ideal, it was definitely watchable. I then closed the drapes and the image only got better with the 1080p quality starting to show through. The BL98 has a pretty good menu and allowed me to adjust the picture settings to my desired liking. I didn't spend a whole lot of time messing with them, but I do wish there was more than one "user" setting, so that I could have one for outside and one for inside, but that isn't a big deal at all. I tried using using the touch pad controls on the top of the unit to navigate the menu, and while it's a nice option to have, it was much easier to use the remote, which worked really well. As the day progressed I tried the projector in a couple of different areas including outside in the backyard. We have a covered structure and I set up the projector and aimed it at the wall. The time was around 3:00 in the afternoon and as expected, it just couldn't overpower the sun; I would have been very surprised if it had been able to. However, while it wasn't watchable you could see the video and could tell what it was being played. When darkness set, I hung a simple sheet in our laundry room and set the projector up once again. If the 1080p quality of the unit started shining through at 1:00 in the afternoon, it blew me away at 8:00 in the evening; especially at close to a 100" size. I was able to get it focused tight and was extremely happy with the way it was displayed. The keystone function works well however I will say that with the keystone adjusted all the way to one end, I couldn't get the very bottom of the picture in tight focus to match the rest of the screen. I just raised the unit up a little so that I could back off on the keystone adjustment and it came right into sharp focus. I looked at a lot of projectors and a lot of reviews before finding this one and boy am I glad I went with this one. All in all, I can't believe this projector can be bought for around $200.00. I really thought that I would have to sacrifice quality with my budget being what it was, but it was the exact opposite. I feel like I got way more quality than I paid for and I would recommend this projector to anyone looking for a really good projector for not a lot of money.
