The “D” itself is much smaller than I thought it would be. Doesn’t take up much cheek. The bit length is true to size

My horse hated every other kind of bit I've put in his mouth. This one is very comfortable for him and he seems to understand what I'm asking of him better than he has with other bits. Ordered a 5.5 inch for my nearly 17hh ssh/qh cross. Fits perfect. 10/10
