Don't Walk Away
I really liked how Vivian and Elle set the scene for the initial part of Don't Walk Away. It's a fun one that made me dive right in! A second chance at love, this time as adults, is what Don't Walk Away is all about. I really enjoyed the fast pace, the characters and the chemistry between them. After years apart, the chemistry is just as strong, if not stronger. Emma is still nursing a broken heart though, and Dean is going to have to find a way to prove to her that he won't walk away this time around if she will only take the a chance with him.I liked both of these characters. They have both obviously matured from the teenagers they were. Emma has done well for herself, even if her professional life is a bit chaotic right now. Seeing Dean in San Francisco is unexpected, and brings back a lot of old heart ache. I didn't like how she still held a grudge, especially when Dean had tried to contact her previously, but her character showed strength and maturity in that she didn't dwell on it too long and was able to move away from that and into life today. I liked how she didn't immediately cave to the combustible attraction between them, but was cautious. Even when her feelings for Dean were still so strong. Dean has quite the reputation as a lady's man, and it's something he's out to prove is no longer true. He is determined, romantic, and wants to be with Emma again...even before he knew who she was he was hot for her. I like how both of these main characters don't pretend to be someone they're not, they are honest about things, everything is out in the open now.I felt like the length of the book was perfect for Dean and Emma's story. It wasn't a story that needed to be dragged out or explored indepthly...it just was. There are a lot of secondary characters in Don't Walk Away with sub plots and various POV's being told. I'd recommend reading the first two books in this series first to understand them all. I liked the connection between all the characters and their friendship. The opening of Don't Walk Away was just as fun as the ending! With a mix of humor, love, and real life, I'd recommend Don't Walk Away to any romance reader who likes a lot of heat between characters looking for a second chance at love together.

Predictable, but a lovely read nonetheless
I was intrigued to see what these writers were going to do with Dean, as we learn in the previous two books that he's a bit of a wild child. Not that the other guys weren't, by any means, but he seemed to be the one that was the largest ladies' man and the one who wasn't willing to change his ways. And then there's Emma.Emma and Dean dated waaaaaaaay back when they were teenagers, but he left and broke her heart. And then they randomly run into one another at a party in San Francisco years later, and he wants her... even though he doesn't know who she is at the time. Needless to say, she's not too happy when she realizes who he is, and then when he finds out who she is, it's equally as dramatic. Mostly because she's intent on not talking to him, and he desperately wants to talk to her.I was pleased with this book and the storyline that played out. The old loves plot is a bit overdone, but I felt like it worked here, especially since they spent so much time apart and since Dean never realized what his true feelings were for Emma until they started spending time together years later.I'm excited about other books in this series to come and to see glimpses of Emma and Dean in them.

shorter and not as satisfying as the first two
I enjoyed the story well enough, but I felt it was a bit short and superficial, compared to the first two in the series. There are 175 pages, which is already borderline for my preference, but then fully six chapters are from the POV of future story characters. For comparison, there are 17 chapters and an epilogue about the main characters. So actually its more like 130 pages that are about the main characters. That's a short novella. So I liked the story well enough, but because of the shorter length, I felt is was missing much of the character development and complex story line that I normally expect from these authors. Unlike the other stories, there was almost no plot related to the DreamMakers company. I liked that part of the other books. So, I probably won't bother to read this story again, but I'm still looking forward to (and will buy) Gillian's story and Colby's story.

Pleasant read but I wanted more.
Don't Walk Away is a second chance romance that I enjoyed for the most part. Dean and Emma, young lovers who break up suddenly when Dean leaves their hometown and never tells her why. Fast forward 11 years and they are thrown together accidentally: she a successful clothes designer with a partner from hell and he, a successful partner in a dating service. What happens next is the very bumpy journey to try to recapture what Emma and Dean had all those years ago. I admit I am a sucker for second chance romances but this one could have been better. Even though it was a well written book, I felt that Emma and Dean didn't really have to try hard enough to be together. Especially Emma. She remembered the hurt from so long ago, yet let herself be taken sexually by Dean without much of a fight. In addition, there is a storyline involving the afore-mentioned partner from hell that I thought was overly explained. Some of those scenes seemed to be unnecessary in my opinion. However, the characters are very likable and there are minor storylines going on at the same time that will undoubtedly set up future books in the series for other members of Dean's company.Overall a decent read even though it fell flat at times for me.

Reformation of a Rogue
The third book in a series, this one is just a bit on the "too salty" side for me. The story is interesting, the premise interesting though frequently done, and the characters are likeable, though the reformation of a party boy is a very, very frequent theme. In this case I felt that there was too much graphic sex for me. I like to have believable heroes and heroines, which in today's world generally includes some sex, BUT I am not seeking total porn. I would have preferred less sex, more story. Having said that, and despite not liking having authors who write singly collaborate, these two write well together.

Great Combination of Romance and Humour
I really enjoyed this book, I have read the other books in the series and was looking forward to Dean's romance and story. I had forgotten the humour that was in these books and quickly found myself smiling as the story progressed. I liked that characters from previous books were entangled throughout the story and found the pace of the book to be just right. I would recommend this book to any reader who enjoys a lighthearted romance with humour along the way and a HEA. Reading it has made me want to go back and re-read the other two books as well as anticipate the next book in the series which is Gillian's story. A great read!

Loved it !
Once again Vivian & Elle weave a magical story. Dean Colter, manwhore, fell in love......who'd have thought it??!! Well actually, he never stopped loving the woman he walked away from when he was nineteen. He has lots of convincing to do to win Emma back & to let her know he is a different person now. But then so is she, can he succeed ? I've loved this DreamMakers Series & can't wait to read Gillians story. Hopefully, Suz will also get her hea in another book.....hint,hint Elle & Vivian !!!!
