decent for tall people
I'm 6'4" and had a hard time finding something that would accomodate my height short of buying a super expensive gym piece. This is not a gym quality piece but it is strong enough for home use. Granted, I feel like it is only "just" large enough to fit taller people but I'm quite happy with it. 5 stars for the price and ergonomics, it's a solid addition.

Sturdy, Gets the job done, but small
Shipping was very fast! Assembly instructions were clear enough to follow. Unit was easy to put together, very sturdy! I bought this for my wife who is 5'4 and it barely works for her when using the extention attachment. I am 5'11 250 pounds and it held me no problem, but it felt like I was on someone of a mini bench :) Overall, as long as your not too tall, this is one, if not the BEST value for the money I was able to find. Good seller!! Thank you!!

Nice and sturdy
Great for small area, very sturdy and serves its purpose! Can’t beat it for the price!Instructions for assembly were horrible! I figured it out on my own though in a short time. I would recommend.

Best bang for the buck
It was easy to assemble but towards the end you have play with the already finished side to make the end work. You’ll find out. Not the end of the world. The pads should be spread a couple of inches more then this. For men it might be a painful exercise time, if you know what I mean. I had to roll a towel and attach it to the pad in a ‘U’ shape for comfort. Great for lower backs and works for people starting at a height of 5’2”

Bench
Completely hated it. Not sturdy at all. I guess this would be a good option if you were a beginner, but honestly not even then. I was probably better off using my kitchen chair as a weight lifting bench

Low cost, light-moderate duty, functional bench for core strengthening; good for beginners
This equipment is primarily a Roman chair but easily adjusts for dumbbell preacher curls too. Much nicer for core strengthening than working out on the cold, bumpy basement floor! Also works OK as a dumbbell bench. Google “Roman chair exercises” to see all the possibilities. As others have noted, the assembly instructions are unclear and the line drawings are illegible. But the steel parts seem OK, the fasteners are decent quality, and the tools provided are adequate to put it together. The upholstery is very thin and may not hold up to repeated uses. The packaging is inadequate: all the parts are in thin plastic bags bouncing around during shipment. As others experienced, the fasteners bag ripped so small parts were strewn everywhere, the metal structures had punctured the vinyl covering the pads, and the painted parts were chipped here and there from banging into each other. This could be a 4 or 5 star product if it had decent instructions or an assembly video, higher grade upholstery, and custom foam packaging that protected the parts during shipping. But, it works OK despite the flaws.

Not bad for the price
The bench and roman chair is more sturdy than I expected. Its a little awkward to put your legs over the top of the roman chair to do sit ups, but not terrible. The only complaints that I have are the bench length is pretty short and the bench gets in the way to do a full bend when using the roman chair. I am 6'1" and when laying on the bench to do sit ups, the bench stops at the top of my shoulders so my head/ neck are off of the bench. Its not that big of a deal, as I don't need my head on the bench to do sit ups, but its just a different feel than what I'm used to. Also, when bending over using the roman chair, your head comes in contact with the bench long before you have reached your full range of motion. That being said, I give it 4 stars because it still does what I need it to in a tight space and it was very reasonably priced.
