3 Light Plug-in Micro Series Compact LED Picture Light: for Artwork Up to 42" W x 48” T (Antique Bronze)

We have a print of about 24"W x 48" L that requires full illumination. Although reluctant to shell out the cash we decided to give the Situ plug-in light a try. It comes very well packaged with full instructions. There is even an included cord extension which we do not need. The remote is small but effective. Mounting to the rear of the picture frame took about 5 minutes and worked well. All the parts are well fitting, the arm of the light is adjustable, and the brightness is adjustable to suit about any circumstance. We are very happy with the color temp (nice cool color) but it would have been helpful to have the color temp adjustable. A great display light the solved a problem for us. Costly but worth it.

I was skeptical and a bit concerned about the price, but you get what you pay for. This is an excellent light. I tried several other lights on Amazon, all had good ratings, but the lights were dim or had poor color rendering (low CRI). This light is excellent and perfectly illuminates a 36”x48” painting. The light also has a remote control with a dimmer and timer. After frustrating results with cheaper lights, this light is well worth the expense.

This light is sleek, attractive, effective, and well engineered. It is, however, expensive with irreplaceable LED's. That being said., the true value of this lamp will ultimately be determined by the longevity of the bulbs. At its price point, I would expect a 50,000 hour life. It is curious that the manufacturer makes no statement regarding the rating of the LED's and only offers a limited 2 year warranty, so only time will tell.I would recommend if chosing to purchase this lamp, that you buy a size larger than what you think you might need, to ensure sufficient coverage.

I've been waiting a bit to write my review for my Situ Lighting Plug-In light, and the time is here! This light is worth every cent that you spend on it and then some. Quickly, it's easy to install, is exactly as described (even better than described) and it's just beautiful. I'm finally seeing my artwork in the way it was meant to be seen and displayed, and it looks even better than it did in the gallery.This is a family run business from Florida that has managed to produce a first-rate product that does not disappoint. From the packaging, the customer service, to the quality and ease of installation, I couldn't be happier with my light. As we display more artwork, I will buy more of them. And I will make sure my new home has outlets installed behind the places I want to put my art for these lights.The color accuracy of this light is spot on. It's what you're paying all the big $$ for. You can get cheap, low color-rendering index LED lights anywhere on Amazon or the web, and as you'd expect, you get what you pay for. The LEDs used in this light are amazing. They produce a very bright, high-quality light that allows the colors the artist used to show through exactly as they are meant to be seen. The light doesn't change or alter them in any way. And since there is no UV light produced, my art is protected from damaging UV exposure. The included remote works great, and the multiple light dimming levels are perfect, though once I found the right level for me, I just set it and forget it. Every time I turn the light on, it comes right back to my preset level.The light ships with everything you need to install the light either to the wall or to your picture. I chose to mount to the wall due to the way my frame was put together and it works perfectly. The entire installation took me about 15 minutes. I had a few issues getting everything just right because we have low ceilings (it meant getting my painting to catch the hook after the installation was a bit of a challenge), but once I got through that, no problems!The light is all metal and is super easy to adjust. You can set the width of the lights and the brightness to suit your needs. Follow the sizing recommendations on their Amazon page and you'll be happy. I've included an image of my painting in darkness lit with just the Situ light, one in normal room lighting with the light on, and one showing how the light mounts with my painting.Overall, I can't recommend this highly enough. If you have a beautiful piece of art, a treasured family photo, or anything else that needs to be lit accurately and without the light becoming the focus of the display, BUY THIS LIGHT! I've been telling my friends and family and several have also purchased this light and have had similar results. Again, it may be expensive, but in this case, you truly get what you pay for!

I really like these lights. A clear 3000K is the perfect color. Small, lightweight, easy to install. The do have a slight hotspot at full brightness, but it goes away if you turn it down a bit. Couldn't be happier.

These are really great lights. I went with these because it was important to me that the amount of light was always ideal, as well as have the ease of a remote. I bought 4 of these lights and every light was able to be programmed to just 1 remote. 1 click, all 4 lights come on. With wireless lights you do not get a remote. With these plug-in/remote controlled lights, you really should call an electrician to install recessed outlets behind your artwork. There’s no sense lighting up your artwork to showcase it if you leave a cord hanging out of the bottom to distract. All in all, I gave the remote 4 stars because I would like to be able to choose specific times to auto turn on and auto turn off. That said, it’s really my only complaint. They are great lights. After the electrician installed recessed outlets, I installed all of the lights myself (to the wall, not to the frame - I wouldn’t want to damage or de-value any frames). 1 word of advice, single socket recessed outlets are not big enough for the plug on these lights. You’ll need a recessed outlet with a bigger box.

I purchased 1 as a test. It worked very well, so I bought a second one. Very pleased... :)
