great to quiet noise

I've purchased a ton of these - in fact I have them installed on 14 vehicles right now. Some have been on for years. They are solid and have lasted quite some time. They not only look nice, but they keep the metal license plates off of your vehicle's paint.

This helps finish off the license plate and gives it a nice look. But the rubber is completely flexible and it does not help support the license to keep it from bending. I tried to combine it with a plastic back for support but could not get that to work.The covers for the screws are a nice touch, but be sure to press hard to get them to lock on or they will be gone rather quickly.

I sent them back wasn’t sturdy enough for me to flimsy.

These things work great! They protect the paint on your car by providing a buffer between the car and the metal license plate. They also just cover the edge of the plate enough that you can apply the yearly renewal stickers without having to take the plate out of the cover. Double win!

This item is as described. The product fit my license plates well, and did not obstruct any detail on the plates. Installation was very straightforward; however I would not recommend using the bolts that came with the kit. The bolts seemed extra long, very thin, and with our environment, prone to degrading quickly. I decided to use the bolts that were previously used to attach my plates to my car. I do like how the plate covers mold around the ridge of my license plate securely.

Good product. Haven’t had it long enough to know if it’ll last. The hardware advertised as stainless steel is NOT any form of ss, which was why I chose this but the price is worth it.
