Post bent on me.
This is the second brand of seat post I have bought on Amazon that has bent, so take my review with a grain of salt. I made sure to keep the seat always inserted past the minimum insertion, but this post still started to bend. I am 6'1" and weight about 195 pounds. My bike is an 18" frame, so I suspect that may be giving me some of the problems but I don't believe that the post should bend if it is inserted past the minimum insertion line. I had this on my commuter bike which is a smooth ride and no significant bumps or impacts. I am trying a 450mm length post to see if the additional length inserted in the frame will help. After that, I don't know what I will do to solve the problem.

Very comfortable seat
Received a couple of days earlier than expected! Yeah! Like others that reviewed this seat, the rod was longer than needed and the seat was to tall for me so hubby cut off about 4.5 inches. Now it's great!

Light, sturdy, perfect fit- size 30.9x350 black
My specialized seat post was too tall for me, and I did not want to saw it short just in case I needed to sell my bike later on. So I looked for a cheap seatpost that is not heavy, that I did not mind sawing, and this was it! It fit perfectly on my Specialized FSR Expert, and the seat mounted on without a problem. It does allow for seat angle adjustment too! The only issue was that my seat gap underneath was small so it took some maneuvering to insert that seatpost's rectangular nut under the seat, but not a big deal. For the cheap price, I did not mind sawing this seatpost another 4 inches shorter. The aluminum thickness was a great blend of sturdiness and lightness, almost as light as my specialized seatpost. This Kalloy seapost is now lighter, however, since I sawed off 4 inches! The black color looked great too! Buy it!

Great value
Correct size and light weight for the price. No creeking so far and bolt stays tight.

Sturdy post for bigger riders.
Love it. I bought an old used bike too replace the one I had stolen. The previous owner had taken a smaller seatpost and aggressively tightened the bolt to make it fit. This is the right size and is far sturdier than the old post. I am a big guy, weigh a bit over 300 lbs. I have used seatposts with the built in swivel mechanism in the past. The problem I tend to run into is the allen screw never seems to tighten enough to take the beating my heft puts on it. So far I don't have that problem. I will post something if that changes.

Fits as needed for my older gt mtn bike Way too long has to cut it shorter

exact fit
While 26.8 is not an obscure size it is a somewhat skinny post. Given that the frame is of 1999 vintage; 22 years have past and I'm grateful that I was able to find a compatible post
