A directory for all your travel RV needs, wants and desires
This 753 page book is packed full of life cheat codes for every RV travel junkies needs, wants and desires. Author Robert Nichols has been traveling in his RV across north America since 2012 when he was laid off from his job as an account. So with all this extra time on his hands and planning to live on a tight budget he decided to get an RV and travel and enjoy much needed vacation time off from corporate America 9 to 5 pm bs. So this book is essentially a memoir of all the RV parks, resorts, campgrounds that he has personally been to. I like that he includes pets being allowed in his choice of spots because honestly putting my dog in a kennel everytime I go away is getting expensive. This book however, is intended to only suit the needs of those who travel and live by an RV lifestyle. This book does not talk about national parks or state parks for regular tourists. I really thought it was a great added bonus that he included an active link for kindle and ebook readers to click on that links you directly to the RV site. Each spot also has accurate contact information, address, price, road condition and amount of parking spaces listed and discounts. Although I don’t officially own an RV it also opened up my eyes to how much is involved when travelling via RV.

Great concise information, a must for private parks
Thank you Bob for your helpful book. I enjoy the concise nature of the information within.. I think of it like a yellow pages of RV parks but with essential information. It saves me time with calling parks, hoping to find someone who will call me back to answer questions.Maybe in your next updated book (hint hint), you could add a few more sentences about the different places. Or maybe a Pro /Con section to help us stratify which parks to try first? We are not full time RVers but can greatly appreciate and admire the amount of work and dedication it took to make this book. Maybe you can add some KOA parks/state parks that are worthy of these pages as well? Thank you!

Needs more useful maps and the table of contents is incorrect
The table of contents lists wrong pages for many of the sections listed. use the table of contents as a general guide to get you to the rough area of the book and then page further to find the section you are looking for.The state maps provided for each section are useless, as there is nothing to link the listings in the book with their locations on the maps. It would have been far more useful to have a little numbered circles on the maps indicating where the listed places are located. While the information compiled on these particular RV parks can be helpful, this book does not stand by itself as in everything-you-need resource. This book is best used in the sit-down-and-plan stage, when locations of RV parks can be identified and actual RV parks along one's route can be flagged for later reference on the road.Three stars for the usefulness of the information provided, but it doesn't get the other two stars because of the issues mentioned above.

Bare Bones Information, Useless Maps
This guide is practically useless. It provides a map of each state (which is very gray and blurry and often unreadable), but doesn't show where the RV parks are on that map, which it seems should be a basic function of the book. What's the point of the map if it doesn't tell where the RV parks are? The write-ups are the most basic essentials you can imagine. It's not at all what I thought I would get. Would not recommend. Buy something else.

Best Guide ever! I loved it.
This one is a must-have guide for all RV owners. I recently started to think about a getting back to the road and this is a great directory to have for long distance or cross country RV trips. What I liked the most is all the informations about what each park or campground offers and for how much, it offers their contact information, address so you can put in your GPS and all. All the listings are in tables format so they are easy to read and navigate through. The only down is that this directory does not include Alaska or canada, but it is amazing anyways.

Index is not correct .
All page numbers are incorrect. It is very hard to find the states using the index!

High quality guide!
This book is has value and is full of high quality information, since it is the end result of years of record-keeping and personal experience on the road and in these parks. The information is reliable since it has not made money from advertising it's listings like mainstream guides do! It is current, organized well, and has a quick summary for each along with all necessary details you would need. I look forward to using it on my travels!
