Well made, nice finish and the right size for my application.I needed a round, knurled, 1+ inch diameter 1/4-20 threaded nut for a telescope wedge altitude adjustment mechanism. This worked perfectly.Now I just have to figure out what to do with the second one.

I put together a work light with a bunch of stuff from Amazon, and I have to say that I'm pretty pleased with the quality and effectiveness of the light considering that I bought the cheapest Chinese junk that was available. The quality of these is fine, and the price was right. Altogether, the light consisted of these, and the stand, light, and plug linked below. I have a total of about 45 bucks into each light, and for the price it simply can't be beat. Nice clean 30mm knurled knobs. They look nice; have smooth edges that are gentle on your fingers; the knurling is deep, clean and consistent; no flashing or casting marks; and the internal threads are clean and well made. They must be made out of high quality aluminum, because I was surprised at how much they weigh. Very solid hardware.

I was able to easily glue these to my device so I can use the camera adapter that was included with my stand. Costed alot less than paying for another special adapter. Nice, solid metal.

These are very well machined-- some of the competitor's models are actually plastic, these are METAL and very well made and finished. They thread onto things very, very smoothly. Just handy to have around, for custom applications, etc., something that is 1/4 = 20 thread in the form of a thumb-nut or speed nut like this can be used for many things.

As with every other Smallrig product I’ve purchased, these are well-made. But they are much thicker than I thought they would be. (I couldn’t find my calipers, so I can’t provide an exact measurement.) On my Manfrotto monopod, they took up so much space, less than a quarter-inch was available for threading into the camera. I wouldn’t trust my camera to just a few threads. If you have a long threaded section, it would work out well. But on shorter threaded sections, watch out.Jerry
