Great Product
Ease of setup and picture quality. Worth the price.

Picture quality is good. Sometimes the PTZ hangs up
The picture quality is good. After a power outage, the camera reset to it's home position. When I tried to re-aim it, It moved most of the way to where I wanted, then would not move in any direction. I tried powering off again, but after a fresh power on, it still did not move at all. The following day, I was able to make the additional small change that I wanted to make. I have no idea why the PTZ stopped, then started working again.

disappointed
i need to return this camera . when i pan in any direction there are lines , distortion while moving . once it stops moving the picture clears up fine. in the pictures i posted you can see the lines and the picture of when it stops moving is clear. I will update this review when the new one is installed.

Instructions are in Chinese.
Fortunately, the instructions came with some diagrams, which helped. This is the first PZT camera that I have used. The diagrams were clear enough that I was able to get it connected and working first try. Not bad for a PZT newbie. I connected this camera with a Vanxse PTZ Keyboard Controller and a small 10 inch monitor from Rugged Cam.I did not rate motion detection or night vision because the camera did not suit my unique needs, so I did not bother to check either of those functions.I thought that for the price, the picture quality is quite good. The pan and tilt did not move as fast as I would have liked, but are adequate for my application. The zoom worked well. The camera is advertised as having a tilt of 0-90 degrees. Unfortunately, it does not. It is more like +5 to +90 degrees. (A guess, I did not take the time to measure.) For my application, I need to mount the camera upside down (dome up). Mounted on a level platform (two levels placed at 90 degrees to one another) at ground level with the tilt at the lowest position, the camera could just "see" the top of a chimney on a two story house about 400 feet away. That means a huge blind spot in my application. This appears to be a decent product when used as it was designed to be used. I will probably "repurpose" this camera as part of a security system, which it what is was designed to do.I rated this product 4/5 because it did not meet the advertised specification of the tilt function, the pan and tilt functions were slower than I would like, but were adequate, and the instructions are in Chinese.

Camera worked fine for 10 months then it malfunctioned
The camera was easy to install and worked fine for 10 months. Then it started to malfunction. The camera now spins all the way to one side without command. Not very useful. No response from the manufacturer as to what the warranty is on the camera.

Piece of garbage.
I gave this two stars, I am being generous. This is supposed to be mounted with the dome facing down. Even though I've mounted this camera as required, even on a level 10 feet above my sidewalk, it's highest point (when you pan the camera all the way up) is about 90° from straight down. You would think "yea, that makes sense," you would be wrong. The very top of the cameras outside ring around the lens is at that 90° angle, the focal point of that lens however is at about 60° from straight down. What's the point. When the camera is not zoomed to even half its range the view seems to be taking in what you'd expect. But zooming the camera to even half its range puts the focal point of the lens (center of camera lens), not at the item you are wanting to see better, but at a point far, far below where you would expect it to be looking. When you zoom all the way to the highest zoom level, you end up looking at whatever is in line with what you want to see at about 45° below what you are trying to zoom in on. With the camera mounted level (using an actual level to do so) at 10 feet above the ground, panning up as far as the camera will pan, looking at an object that is about 40 feet below where the camera is mounted because that object is further down hill from where that camera is mounted, then zooming all the way to the highest level of zoom available for this camera (5x zoom) it will focus, not on the object you can see down that hill from where the camera is mounted (in my case, my mailbox), but on the grass in the field between the camera and that object because panned up as far as it will go still only nets you at most 45° from the ground below the camera and NOT the 90° you think it should be doing. This camera is poorly designed. Yes it's cheap compared to other cameras that pan & zoom, even so I have other cameras that cost half of what this camera does that actually do what you expect and provide a much sharper image at the same range as this camera. Which brings up another point, even at lowest zoom setting, looking at items only a few feet away the image is very grainy and very pixelated. I've done the best I can to set the focus, sharpen the image and follow the instructions of both the camera and the DVR it's connected too. I have 16 other security cameras all of which provides crisp sharp images, just not this one. My cell phone that cost $35 has an excellent quality image and can zoom to 10x and not lose that quality. So why does a camera like this, that cost a lot more, not be able to provide even half the image quality as a cheap cell phone?I'd return this if it was still in the return window, but when I bought it I suffered a major health issue that took several months to recover from (heart), so by the time I was able to install this camera it was well past the return window. If you value your sanity, prefer less stress in your life, buy something else. Stay as far from this camera as you can!

Not compatible to all DVR's
That it did not work in my Q-see DVR. Worked once then quit. It might work with other DVR's.Had to get the pro calls for it from manufacture. It did not come with formation on how to set it up, should be included. What I saw it had a nice video, never had it in the night mode.
