Nerdwax Magic Drops Glasses Cleaning Kit | A Magical Clean for Your Sunnies Specs & Screens

It’s such a nice, compact kit that I can easily keep in my pocket while I’m at work. It makes cleaning my glasses on the go incredibly convenient and quick. I also love that there is enough space in the kit to stash my stick of no-slip wax inside too.

EDIT 2023: I recently had to repurchase the Magic Drops set. I was just about to run out of the last of my original Drops set. I just received it today and opened it up to clean my glasses. The Drops have changed? The fluid still performs the same. My glasses are super clean. However the fluid is very different. It is now much more viscous than previously. I even took out the bottle I have at my desk and compared. The original Magic Drops solution was liquid, very watery. The new Magic Drops almost has a watered down honey texture, or like a thick hand sanitizer feel. Again, it still performs perfectly. My eyeglasses are clean. And I like that in this new set I received a cleaning cloth not sewn into the bag, as well as the on-the-go sewn-in cleaning cloth with bag. I was just surprised to find the solution has been changed. Still 5 stars for me! These work great! The Magic Drops truly do seem to provide a deeper clean that anything else I've used for cleaning my eyeglasses. I use my finger to gently rub the solution across the lens, and follow up with the microfiber cloth to wipe clean. Perfect for on the go. I keep the whole thing in my bag, as I don't like to clutter my keychain. I've gone through 2 whole bottles of the magic drops. It's my absolute favorite product to clean my glasses. And having everything together (drops and cloth) means I'm using my t-shirt or sweater less, which means my glasses are lasting longer without scratches! My only issue is how to clean the microfiber cloth. It's attached to the carrying bag, and I'm worried about what washing will do to the texture of the cloth.

Incredible drops, full stop. I've used plenty of cleaning solutions but nothing compares to this. Just a drop will get rid of everything and leave no streaks.

These drops/cloth really do clean my glasses, but I was hoping it would last longer before I have to clean them again. I try to make sure I never touch my lenses, but I still end up with them being cloudy.

Actually worked!

I was a tiny bit sceptical about picking this up... It is just a tad pricey for some eyeglass cleaner, especially when using a small bit of Windex diluted in purified water works just fine. However, my glasses have a small scratch in the lense that I kinda hoped this product would help with, so I decided to give it a shot. Unlike most similar products I have used, this stuff comes in a dropper bottle instead of a bottle with a mist sprayer. I only use a singl drop on each side of my lenses (4 drops to clear an both lenses, both sides), so this stuff seems to stretch a bit further than a spray would. I usually only need 1 application a day. The refill bottle is pretty big too, so the entir kit should last several months. Like many other reviewers of this product, I did not like how the cleaning cloth was sewn into the carrying case, so using an exact blade I cut the threads that were used to affix the he cloth to the case. I was even able to avoid damaging the cloth and case because the stitching is not too thick. Having the cloth loose makes the whole kit a bit more useful, as I don't need to unclip the case from my backpack every time I use it.

I love this little kit! It's so convenient to have as someone who wears glasses everyday and regularly grubs them up. The drops work very well. I usually only have to use one drop per lens (for the back and the front) and my glasses are super clean. My only problem is that the bottle the drops are in doesn't seem to click closed very securely. I've had no issues with leakage but it does worry me.

My dental hygienist recommended these, as she saw how bad my glasses were fogging up, but it didn’t work for me. Actually made them harder to keep clean + fogged. If she liked it so much, and it worked for her, then perhaps it could work for you. I won’t recommend it though.

I’ve had glasses all my life and always use my shirt because the stuff that they normally sell to clean glasses (wipes) tends to dry out and if it’s not doesn’t work as well. Nerdwax is amazing!!! My glasses are so clean!!! Now I need to get new lenses so I don’t see the scratches!!
