fits great and protects head great

This was a great addition to my welding PPE. I was recently welding inside a fireplace and was being showered by sparks but I didn't have to worry about it because my entire head and neck were wrapped up by this. It's great for the cost and more comfortable than I was expecting. I definitely recommend it

I wear it all day during my work shift , 8-10 hour shifts welding nonstop , it’s worked absolute wonders for me as far as protecting my neck and etc , the only thing I could maybe complain about is the way it fits around the neck when you connect it, I’ve tried any way possible and tend too find myself just leaving it unattached but still on my head, I just keep it tight with my welding helmet

Fit is loose, I imagine you could easily wear a wool watch cap under this hood in the winter. I like that it protects the top of my head and adds extra protection to the area between the bottom of my welding helmet and the collar of my jacket. Yes it had a heavy leather smell when I pulled it out of the package. Smell faded somewhat after hanging it outside for a few days. Looks like it should last awhile.

I bought this to protect me when welding over head. The quality is great. I was a little worried about how it would fit but it fits great with welding hood. Would buy again.

Lite not so heavy but is great protection

Good leather for purpose, scared to use though, upon trying on first thoughts were "when a hot piece gets in the cuff off my glove I can quickly sling the glove off my hand" if something sneaks into the face hole I'm gonna look like someone getting beat up by ghosts
