Great movie
Loved this movie, but sad to know that Brian (Paul Walker) passed away prior to the finishing of it. I think this should've been the end of the series in honor of Paul Walker. I watched one after this one, but it wasn't the same. Others may have a different opinion though. That's just mine.

Very good
Furious 7 is definitely a turning point for the Fast & Furious franchise, in large part because of the tragic death of Paul Walker that occurred during the production of the movie. The movie, finally, deals with Han's death in Tokyo Drift, which on film occurred years earlier, but Sung Kang kept appearing in the subsequent movies always hinting that he would get to Tokyo. In this movie, it is revealed that Han was killed by the brother of Own Shaw (Luke Evans), Deckard, played by Jason Statham. The movie is essentially about the team trying to track down Deckard. The movie has the typical over-the-top action that has become the staple of the film series, especially after all the main actors returned to the franchise after Tokyo Drift. There are a lot of tongue-in-cheek absurd moments, like The Rock flexing out of a cast and leaving the hospital to get back into the fight after he is sidelined most of the movie. The movie also introduced the character Mr. Nobody, a covert ops leader played by Kurt Russell, and has a cameo appearance by Rhonda Rousey who is basically in the movie to have a throwdown with Michelle Rodriquez. For those who get the blu-ray set, the movie looks and sounds great in HD. Of course, there are a ton of special effects used throughout the movie, and everything looks wonderful and seamless. There are two versions of the movie, the theatrical and an extended edition that adds about a minute to the theatrical version. It is so inconsequential that it was really not worth making an extended edition. Then, there are about six minutes of deleted scenes, seven making-of and behind-the-scenes featurettes that range in length from about six minutes to just over thirty minutes. Then there is a feature on the Race Wars festival, the music video "See You Again" from Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, and a feature on the Fast & Furious-themed ride at Universal.Overall, the movie is good. Probably the last really good movie of the franchise before it got completely ridiculous. I am sure most people know how the movie handled Paul Walker's death in terms of Brian's storyline. I will not spoil it for the handful of people who don't know, but I think it was very well done. The movie is 95% action, 5.9% tongue-in-cheek comedy, and .1% drama. The franchise has found the formula that works for it and stays in that lane. It does not try to be a best-picture candidate, so if that is what you are looking for, this is not it. But if you want to watch a fun action movie with a bunch of car chases and cool stunts, this is a good one.

We gon ride on forever, we ride out together.
In recent years, I think the Fast & Furious franchise has shown that it can get with the times. I grew up watching the series. To see it transition from something that was entirely focused on the cars to something swash-buckling and character-centric is remarkable. Not very many films have done this and franchises have fizzled out trying to do the same thing over and over again or suddenly changing. Furious 7 is a continuation of this franchise’s evolution and marks a fairly emotional shift due to the untimely loss of Paul Walker. As with the previous iterations, the film has the action, impossible but pretty physics, outrageous moves, some fairly good cameos, a bit of clumsy romance and oh, yeah, helicopters, explosions, armored trucks and cars. It keeps you interested in the film for the duration. Jason Statham does a decent job as a villain but he’s not really as despicable as I’d like. As usual, Tyrese provides some laughs and there is some good chemistry between the cast. The Rock takes a somewhat minor role in the film. I’m not a big fan of the memory loss romance. I thought it was clumsy to say the least and pretty cliché. The story itself was kinda cool, there was a bit of a Bourne/Bond element to it. It’s interesting enough but just as the Bourne/Bond element makes it cool, it’s also a clear indication that the F&F franchise should stick to plot lines that are more in their realm, something original. The whole world vs the Toretto crew is starting to become stale at this point and is definitely something that needs to be addressed in future editions.I thought they did an excellent job of bidding Paul Walker farewell. I’ll be the first to admit that it was a pretty emotional last little bit and it will be a little weird to see the franchise go on without one of its biggest star and someone who was the franchise foundation. I don’t think they over did or under do anything in the film but you just get a sense that things will be different after this one. Here’s to hoping it’s for the better.

Excellent Tribute to Paul Walker & Mind Blowing Sequel
It is disheartning to know that Paul Walker died during the making of this movie. While watching this movie for the first time I was literally on the edge of my seat & was almost tearful during action sequence of Paul Walker as I thought they would kill the character "Brian O'Conner" especially in the action scene of bus hanging of the cliff. But it was not the case & the movie is fine tribute to the late actor. They managed to complete this movie I heard taking help from his brothers Cody & Caleb. HATS OFF to the entire team of the movie. One more mind blowing sequel. The movie is also very fast paced & high on entertainment. It is a must watch of the for action movie buffs.
