Just What the Scrabble Doctor Ordered!
If you play Scrabble, Words With Friends, Lexulous, or other word games, this book is fun to use and will boost your confidence and your scores. It contains hundreds of lists of letter combinations that can be shuffled to create different words. Written for both beginners and experienced anagrammers, the book starts with 4-letter words and works up to 7- to 9-letter bingos that are essential to winning play. Like stretching my body before engaging in sports, I use these word lists to warm up my brain before I play. It takes no more than 5 or 10 minutes to go through a list and put your mind in gear to play well. As you practice these you become more aware of common letter combinations and your anagramming speed and skill will rapidly improve.

Great for expanding word game skills
Learning better anagramming skills is a key to impoviding performance in timed and untimed word games. This book teaches some ways to improve and the exercises can be worked over and over until mastered. No need for a pencil since the author is trying to help the reader "see" the possible other patterns in letters - can a smile just as well be slime or miles or even limes? Ah well you get the idea but wait until you get to the 7"s and 8's. Anagramming is mindblowing sometimes! Edley gets to the thrill of the chase for words in letter racks.

Great Mind Stretcher
I find the matching pairs of anagrams approach a fun way to study and to train myself to look for unexpected rearrangements of letters. Each quiz only takes a minute or two so it's easy to pick up and put down. In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, I found that I could play by flashlight since each quiz takes up a small footprint on the page. As a regular tournament Scrabble player, I'm hoping to remember some of the words I'm seeing and to improve my own ability to find words from a random rack of tiles.

It's perfectly organized for learning to be a great anagrammar. It will take hard work
It's perfectly organized for learning to be a great anagrammar. It will take hard work, but the way this is organized, I know I will get there!

Anagrammar (Volume 1)
Contents were OK. However, last few pages came dog-eared, making it less desirable as a gift for which it was intended.
