There is a gap in the hook that allows the bottom part to slip free during winds and the hook itself doesn't curve enough to really stay in place, if you know what I mean. I had to put a bead of hot glue in the gap and then secure the hook in place with duct tape. The free swivel on the hook is nice. It lets whatever is hung on it turn without getting tangled or stuck. Great display for wind spirals.

Finally found something that works! I live in a very, very windy area of the Southern California desert... I like garden decor so I take two CDs, glue them back-to-back, then hang them from various things I've made (think bird feeder with arms) so they'll shine in the wind. Before I found these hooks everything I tried to keep my spinners spinning in our crazy winds broke, even the spinny fishing things, but these work brilliantly and STAY INTACT! I did lose one CD spinner completely to the wind, but that's no comment on the swivel hook. 🤬😋. Highly recommend, especially for windy areas.

The Swivel hook works great. For my use I wish the clip was just a little bit bigger, but got it to work. Not for use wind chimes as the wind will just turn the swivel and you want the chimes to stay stationary and not spin around so you'll get good sound. I used it on my Hummingbird feeder and it's perfect for something like that or a plant or something.

I had some wind spinners that I wanted to connect on my porch. These worked great, allowing them to spin freely while securely attached to each other and the hook on my porch. Would definitely recommend!

When I bought a hot air balloon wind spinner that had a great deal of trouble spinning, these 360° spinner hooks came to the rescue! Now the balloon spins in the slightest breeze!

The info stated three and one half inches. I assumed that meant the length of the hook. No, that is the entire piece from top to bottom. Of no value to me but I will keep it. They may be useful for something, some day.
