Nothing more frustrating when buying a book and can’t look at it first.I don’t know if this book is what I need cuz I had to buy it first just to look at it. It looks very informative, so it might work out. I am sending these pics before I even look at it for myself. I have it a 5 star cuz it looks like it’ll be a good book to teach me to train my future service dog.There are several pages in the back for notes.I hope this helps. 🙂

Although;I've never actually trained service dogs,I've only volunteered at no kill animal shelters,I still found this book an educational introduction on the subject.I have my own copy and purchased two more for friends of mine.

an informational book about service dogsthis is NOT A TRAINING MANUALit does show how to teach two things but the majority is general overview of information you should know about service dogs4 stars because most of the information was so generic it was not helpful and pictures show mostly dogs which is cute but not very informative

It is a good book

This is a MUST have/must read book for all people with service dogs or wish to entertain the thought of training them. It's a bit old school, which makes it all the better because I feel training techniques in the past are superior to many innovative techniques that use bribery as training tools instead of animal psychology. Even if you don't have a service dog or want to train them, it's great to have in your library and personal knowledge because chapters also pertain to Disability Laws and Rights for people who need these working animals, and to be ignorant of them in today's society is unwise. BRAVO. Two thumbs up - buy it now!

IT IS OKAY BUT IT DID NOT HELP MUCH

I’m not sure where along the journey this guy got damaged. The book arrived with a bent corner. When buying books new I prefer them to be in peak condition. If it was used I wouldn’t mind.This thankfully does not however effect the readability of the book. Which as far as I can tell is going to be a real pleasure. I’ve begun looking through and the author and editors seem to have fit this together in a nice little package (the book is smaller than I expected, width and length. I did not check the measurements so I was surprised.)I believe this will be a great resource to have on hand and refer back to again and again without jumping to google.

OK book, fairly standard content if you arent a beginner. Good for a refresher read, but feel it was over priced a little.

Great condition and great book
