Solid, pretty and does the job...quit whinging everyone
UPDATE: it has now been about 10 months or so of use. I bet you thought I was going to drift into a complaint session right? Nope. This baby looks EXACTLY like it did (well bar a few water spots on the inside) but the paint is still glorious. J/S for the money…Lord have mercy. The whinging that is going on, that makes zero sense. This little press is solid and does the job. It is not a $200 press, so if you want that quality - feel free - there are those out there. This press will last you. It DOES keep keep coffee warm, but holy cow...THINK! You have to PRE-WARM the press. This is NOT rocket science. Oh, and btw, it is easy to clean. I have had a few times that pesky grounds stayed (sometimes not all the coffee is ground correctly) so I use a clean toothbrush expressly for cleaning it. It works great. This is great value and looks so pretty on my counter, not hideous like those glass ones.

Looks is good, function is also good
It works as advertised. Zero plastic for those that worry about such things.I attach two of the metal screens at the same time for better filtration (I don't know if this helps), but I also wrap the plunger with regular coffee paper filter. This delivers very clean cup with all the other benefits of the French press. It is good for dark roasts. For some reason, I don't get the extraction I want from pour over with dark roasts. With this press, things work out much better. I just leave it steep for no more than two minutes and that reduces some of the smoky, bitter tastes while extracting nutty, chocolate, caramel etc tastes. Pops the sweet notes in the dark roast.

Looks Great, Won’t Break, Coffee Stays Hot
I’ve used French Press coffee makers for years - the glass in a metal frame kind. Sooner or later (usually sooner), the glass broke and I would have to replace it. When I saw the stainless steel French Press, I was hooked and I now have the large (34 oz) and small (1 cup) sizes. What I like best is that they won’t be breaking any time soon, look great, make a good cup of coffee brewed exactly to my specifications, and the coffee stays hot while brewing or waiting to be poured because of the double wall construction. Although they were more expensive than the glass ones, I expect that these will last me for years, unlike any of the glass ones I’ve had. They can be put in the dishwasher. They also come with extra filters (wire) which is a bonus in my mind. If I could give the stainless steel French Press coffee maker a higher rating, I would.

Excellent Product
Not only is this the most beautiful cafetière I’ve ever bought, it is also the best. The quality is extremely high and it keeps the extra mugs of coffee hot. It is a superb French Press.

Coffee stays nice an warm
All good. Except found it a bit smaller than I had imagined. Had a glass one earlier which was same size but seemed a bit larger. Nevertheless its a nice well made product. Seems sturdy.

Sturdy & works great
I bought this French press a few years ago for travel. It's pretty much indestructible, made out of heavy gauge metal. I took it on trips with me and used it as a tea pot (put in the tea bags & hot water but didn't plunge the "presser" down) as well as a French press for coffee. I've taken it in my checked luggage on the plane without any problems. It's a bit bulky and heavy if you want to travel light, but if you want something that's going to hold up, this is it. I even got rid of my glass French press- no need to keep both.

Great SS press
This is my third SS French press. I first got a 2 litre (just under) press so I would only have to brew once in the morning. I got a really small one to use as a milk frother and just recently got the MIRA 34 oz SS press to replace my glass one. It holds the heat much better even though I covered the glass one with an insulating caddy. The MIRA came with two screens already fitted to the filter system and two spares in a plastic bag. The finish of the MIRA is excellent with no flaws the the welds. The plunger achieves a nice tight fit so no grounds are left in the coffee. There is the inevitable stuff called "fine" that does settle in the bottom of the second poured cup. I think only a paper filter in drip coffee reduces that. The second cup is nice and hot, usually not requiring any microwaving. Not sure what else to say, except that this SS press meets all my expectations. For the money it's a great deal, even at a few bucks more it would be acceptable.
