Oil Emulsion Wound Dressing Dimensions: 3 inch x 8 inch Quantity: 24 pack in total per case. Oil Emulsion Dressings are indicated for use as a primary dressing in the management of medium to heavy draining wounds such as minor burns, abrasions and lacerations. These dressings may also be used under the care of a health care professional for wounds such as surgical incisions, skin grafts and dermal ulcers. Highly conformable, non-adherent dressing is ideal for lightly draining wounds including minor burns, lacerations and abrasions. Knitted, high porosity cellulose acetate is evenly impregnated with U. S. P. white petrolatum in an emulsion blend that permits the flow of exudates without adhering to granulating tissue and minimizes skin maceration. The most widely covered such wounds include cuts, pressure sores, severe sunburns and skin ulcers. Ideal for most draining wounds including: Minor burns, suture lines, lacerations, skin ulcers, episiotomy incisions and abrasions.
