This mix provides a balanced composition of topsoil, vermiculite, peat or wood shavings, and fertilizer provides excellent nourishment for my plants, resulting in robust and healthy growth. I particularly appreciate the moisture control feature and overall soil quality are particularly beneficial and offer great value. Great product and easy to use. I had to repot y outside patio plants, and they are thriving with this soil. In Florida, we have had thunder storms and down pours, and also hot periods, with no rain, and this soil has kept the plants doing fine no matter what. There is no water log or excessive dryness when I check each day. They are also growing and looking healthier then ever.

Just what I needed to transplant my cuttings (that rooted in water), to soil. Cuttings are thriving in this soil and growing tall and strong. I will buy again and I highly recommend this soil. This is a good value for the money. The soil quality is very good.

I really appreciate the fact the this potting mix isn't full of sticks. It is soft and absorbs water quickly. Giving my potted plants the occasional deep soil soaking is easy and goes quickly. I am using the Miracle-Gro Moisture Control potting mix in 8-gallon pots, following the seller's specifications. This mix nourishes plants for up to six months, allowing them to grow and bloom twice as fast. Its long-lasting moisture retention helps reduce the frequency of repotting or reapplication, which is helpful for busy gardeners. It is easy to use: fill one-third of a pot (with a drainage hole) with the mix, place the plant inside, cover it with more mix, and finally water thoroughly, letting it drain. As of now, I cannot rate the product based on actual plant growth results; I am sharing my impressions based on the mix's composition and high-quality ingredients. I may update this review later depending on whether the plants grow to twice their size as the seller claims, but for now, I rate it 4/5, which reflects an honest assessment and openness to future updates.

This planting soil was veey good quality. I put it in an outdoor container and I am growing fragile spring-blooming flowrs in it. It's my first year trying this method. i expect to have success. the soli was rich looking, deep black-brown, soft and easy to work with. perefect for any home gardener.

I have debated using this moisture control mix for several years and I am so glad I did this year-wish I had tried it sooner! It is definitely worth the extra cost, it saves SO much time and watering. We have had drought conditions the past 3 summers, and I had to water daily or every other day. This year, I can go a week or more without having to water all my containers. The only potted plants I have to water daily in these 90+ degree days are the ones I bought that were already planted and obviously the greenhouse did not use this type of mix because they dry out rapidly. I will never use anything else. The added miracle grow fertilizer is a big plus as the plants grew and filled out quickly
