Now that it is on my Ascent is looks nice and is quite strong. However.....The front and rear bars are different lengths and are not interchangeable. You will waste time if you grab the rear bar and try to fit it to the front. THEY ARE NOT LABELED!!! The front bar is labeled on the poly sleeve. If you take off all the plastic before you start like I did....50-50 chance you will choose wrong.The BIG BIG problem though is the lock cams are too large for the slots they need to engage. I needed to file them down so they would go in the slot....ALL FOUR OF THEM!!So be prepared to do some extra work to get this thing to work as advertised. There is NO EXCUSE for the misfit on the lock cam slots. Make the cam slots wider for heaven's sake!!!

No problem getting these on, great price, fast shipping. So far no issues after one stuffed-full, week-long vacation. If they deteriorate more quickly than they should, we'll update our rating, but for now, this is an affordable alternative to OEM equipment.

Easy to install

The screw heads used to secure the width of the rack are too tall to allow enough clearance for the universal connectors to slide into the track. My Thule ProRide had to slid onto the rack before it could be secured for width. Also, the lack of proper width did not allow it to be mount forward enough for a Thule roof box to interfere not with the tailgate raised.

Just got these crossbars delivered today and installed tonight in about 20 minutes. Fits perfect, feels very sturdy for our roof cargo bag.

No signs of bowing and flexing held up as described.

Put these on my 2021 Subaru Ascent they fit fine and the price is great. They seem sturdy enough, but my only problem is that after a week the hardware is already starting to rust. After this weekends camping trip, I will be replacing the hardware with stainless steel. Only giving 4 stars overall due to the time I’m going to spend to upgrade to stainless hardware. Sorry, that’s probably being nit picky. The bars are a good deal overall, just change the hardware before installation.

The crossbars were easy to put on, and served their purpose at a much lower cost than those from the name-brand roof rack companies.
