Broken
Had these about 2 weeks, and broken already. Only used them for winding kitchen feet up and down, and the spring loaded clip is broke so they won't stay in position anymore

OK but not the best I have had.
This type of pliers is always useful particularly for gripping odd shape items.Quite a bit of play in the joint, strangely the one thing that is a selling point I don't like. The jaws lock in the various settings and to move from one to another you have to press the pivot button to release and move the Jaws. I often, particularly with plumbing do not know and cannot see how wide the jaws need to be and find the method of adjusting inconvenient.Having said all this they are a good but basic pair with a nice feel/grip on the handles.

Good for home DIY at the price
For using around the house and doing household DIY, this AmazonBasics Joint Pliers is actually pretty good. They arrived well packaged and well-oiled, ensuring that they weren't damaged and also ensuring that it's preserved. Like i said, they're a good quality for using around the house, with good grips to hold onto them. The jaw lock with the pivot button is a little strange, but soon got used to it, and the jaws themselves aren't that big, which was a little disappointing.

Decent DIYers tool
My husband was a mechanic and he wouldn’t use these in a professional capacity but for odd jobs around the house they’re more than adequate. They’re better than some budget branded tools, the ‘jaws’ open wide enough, the grips are comfortable and they seem to be sturdy. Of course only time will tell just how good these are but on initial use, they seem to be reasonably good value for money.

Very useful tool
This is such a useful tool, that gives great leverage due to the length of the handles.I tested this out on a load of fixings including nails, screws, trellis fixtures, etc. These pliers were very good at removing nails, trellis fixtures and screws. Particularly where they had put in a screw & raw plug together and the screw no longer turn, I was able to leverage out both the screw and raw plug. They are solidly made and have a ratchet system that lets you set the width of the jaws. The jaws have a good set of teeth, that means they are able to grip firmly. The long handles give excellent leverage, but could do with a bit more padding. As I do not know what the price of the pliers are, I am unable to comment on value for money.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative and useful. Thanks for reading.
