This grease container is well built and the design makes it easy to use, to keep the oil clean with a well designed strainer and the sturdy lid. We like the idea of having a tray to place under the great pot to keep oils from spilling on the countertop and/or stove. Highly recommend this product

I already have one and I’ve found multiple other uses for it in the kitchen. So I decided to purchase another one so I can have multiple units. I’m thinking on buying a 3rd unit. I love the handle on this pot. I can have boiling hot water but the handle and my hand stay cool. Eveything about this is well made. It’s just the right size , not to small not to big. It’s becoming all purpose, ladle, scooper , pitcher or as I like to say it’s my all purpose MacGyvire kitchen tool😂😂👍

If you are looking for a way to save oil or grease, look no further. I had originally purchased another holder and had to return it because it was way too small. This one is perfect. It is a good size, has a nice plate to ensure your table top never gets greasy if there is a spill (which hasn't happened). I like that the top even has a spout cover. The mesh inside is not flimsy like others on the market. It actually stays in place (won't fall in) and works very well. I have nothing bad to say at ALL. I highly recommend it. The brushed stainless steel also looks very modern and great on my countertop.

I like this product and will continue to use it. That being said there are some good and bad points about this. On the upside it is a good size that does hold enough oil to fry a decent amount of items. The strainer's holes are a decent size to catch the big particles. It is nice that there is a lid also. Not really sure what the saucer is for though. This product could be much better if this wider than taller to help with pouring the oil into the container without it backing up while straining out the fried particles. As imaginable, this gets extremely hot when hot oil is poured into to. Someone isn't going to want to accidently touch this when it is hot. I'll keep using this product until I need another one but when that time comes I probably will look for a different design than this model.

This is the second grease can we have bought from this company — we decided we need two. The screen is exactly the right size to strain the drippings. We prefer this perforated strainer over wire mesh. It is stronger and easier to clean. The can is well made and is very sturdy without being heavy.

The product is good. However don't you feel cheated when later you see another seller with the exact same item but half the price?

When I was searching for an oil storage pot(stainless steel grease strainer), I found a wide range of prices ranging from $16 to $50. After careful consideration, I decided to go for the Sumerflos pot, which had an impressive rating of 3,814 and was priced at $50.91 (but was available for $44 after a 14% discount). I was willing to pay a premium for the product, expecting it to be of decent quality. Unfortunately, I was disappointed when I received it.Firstly, there was no branding on the pot or outside the package, which made it difficult to identify the product. It seemed like a cheap product that wasn't worth the premium price.Secondly, there was no information on who manufactured the product. (I do doubt the seller use another cheap product to replace the high rated product showing on webpage)Thirdly, there were no quality controls in place, as the lid's finish edge and mesh filter were both very sharp and could easily cut your fingers if not handled with care. The finish edge should have been sanded or polished before being sold on the market.Overall, if you don't care about the quality of the product, you might as well go for a cheap one on Amazon. However, if you are looking for a quality oil storage pot, the Sumerflos pot is not the right choice.
