Rapid Ice Champagne Cooler - Classic

I love this thing. It looks good and gets bottles cold without the water from ice. Sometimes you're on the go and don't want to take a cooler with ice so this cooler does the trick and stays snug against the bottle. It is pretty snug for some champagnes, and i've found it works for wine bottles nicely as well. Sometimes I'll get a hot bottle from the store and stick it in this cooler when i stick it in the fridge so it cools down faster. I have found that there are little air holes around it to allow flexibility around the outside lining and the interior cooler pack. If this gets dunked in water, the water will get inside the holes. Then when you squeeze it water streams shoot out the sides. At first i thought i poked holes in it some how while washing it, but i didn't, its just made that way. I did not have to call Vacu Vin for this product, but i did on another one and had very great response and customer service from this company. I have been recommending them to my family and friends.

This may keep a cold bottle 'cool'... but it will not "chill" a room temperature bottle of wine or champagne. The reason I purchased this was to chill a bottle purchased at room tempurature but this does not do the trick. This will mearly keep a cold bottle of champagne or wine cool, but will not 'chill' anything. Disapointed.

Doesn't chill in five minutes, not even close! Will be good for my tennis elbow!

Snug fit and keeps champagne just right for two to finish the bottle. And I prefer the subtle design as well.

Great idea butnit doesn't stay frozen long, and does not keep things as cold as they claim. Fits Champagne and other bottles with ease. Keeps bottles cool not cold.

I love this item! Why? I like sparkling wine and I especially like to enjoy it outdoors but I've always hated the drippy ice water and the need for a super chilled ice bucket. This does the trick to keep it chilled but no, it will not keep it "icy chilled" but it works as well or slightly better than using an ice bucket. It's even better for white wine that doesn't need to be kept as chilled as champagne/sparkling wine. Easy to transport, easy to use. Just ordered a second one (in case you are having a party and need more than one bottle chilled - or you want a back up for the 2nd bottle because it's just too pretty of a sunset/evening to come inside. :)

This product keeps a previously cold bottle. Do not expect it to chill anything. Maybe is something with the gel..is not reacting to get colder than ambient temperature

It did not acceptably chill prosecco as advertised. There were loose parts when I got it, and I SHOULD HAVE RETURNED IT RIGHT AWAY. Instead, I put the part back on and then tried it after a couple of months in the freezer. Nope, doesn't work well at all AND the pull came off the end on the first use. DEFECTIVE item, and doesn't work as advertised. The rapid coolers for cans work because metal cans conduct the cold much better than glass bottles. Don't waste your money.

Every household should own one of these. Great for chilling a bottle of champagne or fizzy wine at short notice. I also use if I'm taking a bottle of wine to as friends dinner party as it keeps the wine chilled during travelling

Have you ever been to a restaurant that won't give you an ice bucket for your Champagne? Well maybe you shouldn't go to that restaurant anymore - or - buy a Vacu Vin Rapid Ice Champagne Cooler! Although this is sold as a product to rapidly cool your champagne bottle (which it does very well), it also works as a cooler, to keep your bottle cold for hours. Make sure that the last glass poured from the bottle is as cold as the first with a Vacu Vin Rapid Ice Champagne Cooler!

This is the second one I have purchased and live both the product & design. Keeps champagne ice cold for hours just great for the festive season. I can’t rate this highly enough.
