I bought these pens because I recently got some space stationery and it had black paper. I was going to buy milkypop pens because I remember them from back in the day and I'd always liked them, but I didn't realize how expensive they were! When amazon suggested these to me for 2/3 the price, I figured I may as well give them a shot. After all, I'm familiar with ohuhu because of their alcohol markers being a nice dupe for copics. I'm happy to say they did not disappoint. Not only do they write smoothly with really nice color, they're nice and opaque on my black paper, they dry quickly, and they include metallic silver and gold as well! I couldn't be happier with them.

[UPDATED REVIEW]I bumped up the review due to the quick response from Ohuhu and the offer of a refund. I opted for a replacement. The metallic markers they sent are great.I wanted to love these, but they're a huge disappointment. I've only been able to get a couple of the colors to work, but they are terribly inconsistent and leave streaks. The ink doesn't flow smoothly at all even when shaken and left stored on their side. Ohuhu really missed with these.You may want to try another brand.

**Updated***After my negative review, the seller contact me and send me another set of pens to try them again. This time the pens as you can see on the picture they run very smoothly and not dry at all.I am very happy with the product, but even more with the seller and the great customer service they provide me.I was very excited getting this great deal, but really not worth it.The pens are some how dry.The only ones are ok and write ok are the black and the silver. All the other colors just suck.

All the pens work except the gold pens. The gold pens won't write no matter what I do. I shook them and shook them. The other pens seem to write pretty well but the gold pens just won't work.

I was in need of gel pens for a particular project and found these Ohuhu gel pens at an amazingly low price. (Side note: a YouTuber, Mary Polanco, mentioned on her channel that she used Ohuhu alcohol markers and they were a great price.) I decided to give these a try and was extremely pleased with the pens! (Read the enclosed information received with the pens regarding shaking them, etc.) I recommend these gel pens!

I purchased this Ohuhu acrylic paint set on Feb 12, 2023. The 2 gold pens stopped working 10 months later. I used 1 gold pen (barely) within the first month I got it. The other gold pen, I never even uncapped. They both stayed in the original packaging. When I pulled them out last week, the ink has lost all color and sparkle/gold effect. It is still wet but it's as it's it's become transparent. Like the ink 'expired'? I wonder how soon they expired? Maybe they went bad even sooner than 10 months. I attached photos of the Ohuhu gold pen along with the old Marie's gold pen for comparison. I purchased the Marie's gold pen in 2022 which is still as gold and smooth like the first day I used it. I'm giving this item 2 stars because the other white and silven pens in the set are still working (although the white pens skip a lot when you write on it certain angles. The white paint also is not as intense as Marie's. I bought the whole set because I thought I was getting my money's worth with the quantity of pens but quality is severely lacking. Will not buy Ohuhu again.

this is the best! all the pens write smoothly and some sparkle a little but the black one skips sometimes, just shake it and everything will work out. highly recommended!

Two of the three gold pens did not work, even with shaking them (and I shook them, several times and all that came out was the clear gel part of the pen, no gold whatsoever). The silver pens worked really well (there are three silver pens). The seven white pens were a bit of overkill on the colour, but my mum will use them for her black paged journal. I liked the other coloured pens and they worked fine, although they were more neon than pastel. Still, I'll keep these and use them up but won't likely buy them again.

I bought a 20-pack of their Art Gel Pens for use on black paper. The three Gold colour pens had all separated into ink/oil and were useless.Every pack of Ohuhu pens comes with a claim that if you are not satisfied with your purchase, they’ll replace it. If you’re still not happy, they’ll give you your money back.So, on a Sunday, I sent them an email asking for three replacement Gold pens please.Within and hour I was assured that replacements would be on the way soon, but to “please have patience as shipping takes up to two weeks sometimes”.Tuesday, a brand new 20-pack of pens arrived!No request to send the old ones back.Yeah, I guess you could say I’m happy with their Customer Service.Plus! The pens that do work, work very well.

I haven't used these yet except to try them out to see if they worked. I bought two packages... one for myself and one for a gift. Unfortunately the gold ones do not work in either pack (I tried both packs after seeing the gold ones didn't work in mine, I didn't want to give it as a gift and not have some work.). There are 3 silver, 3 gold, 7 white, 1 black and 6 neon coloured ones (though the purple is just a pretty purple). Maybe there could have been 6 white and 2 black pens as black is a great outlining colour and one may get used up pretty quick. Disappointed about the gold pens not working. Can't give as a gift now. Have tried several times shaking upside down as suggested in the insert in the package to no avail. Nice hard plastic case. Well protected. Clear pen cases so you can see the colour and amount of ink.

Since I love this brand, I thought I would try it. I am doing black paper art right now. These no matter what I did where on and off. Some colours like the gold . Never even showed up. The silver is ok and the white breaks up a line. The other colours work like the white

I'm loving the pens so far from what I tested, with the exception of the 3 gold pens in the set. None of them worked at all. I tried shaking as per the directions and one of them leaked. I've attached pictures.
