Great model, not for beginners.
I really enjoyed putting this model together. After building models when I was a kid, I decided to try my hand at it again in adulthood. I have never painted my models when I was a kid, so I wanted to do this with the new ones I was putting together. I had built another Revell 1:48 scale model before this, a P-51 Mustang. In all honesty, I botched that one, and should have completed a few more smaller ones before I attempted this one. It'll use a lot of paint and glue. It's quite big (maybe a foot and a half wingspan or so), so make sure you have enough room to put it (I hung it from the ceiling in my workshop). It took me a long time to complete, but most of that was painting honestly. I always build my models with the landing gears up. It was sort of difficult to do that with this model, as it was made to be built with the landing gears down. So I ended up with some uneven surfaces and gaps in the landing gear bay/cover areas. All and all I am very happy with this model. The B-25 Mitchell has to be one of the sexiest WWII bombers and it looks as such in my workshop.

An excellent build for a beginner.
I build scale models of different subjects. However, I have only built an airplane once and needed some practice. Revell has some very good models at a variety of price points. I was using this model, not as a display but for practice. I was pleased with the quality at this price. It had some flash, but I always trim and clean my models, so it was just a regular aspect of a build. The number of fit issues was far less than anticipated. This kit will require more attention than those at a higher price. It would be an excellent beginners kit; reasonable price and not too involved. A great project that can be done as a family project.

very good model kit of the famous B-25 Mitchell
The Revell model kit makes a lot of fun to build, not everything is perfect but has not to be, that's part of the challenge of this hobby. In my opinion not for beginners. The kit needs a bit of experience and skill to build for a good result. About 70-80 grams balance weight in the nose area and inside of the engine cowlings are required for balancing, so that the model stands on the nose wheel without the support on the rear fuselage, not easy to hide. In total a very good model kit of the North American B-25 Mitchell bomber, therefor in total 5 *

Not Bad. You get what you pay for
This model is not top quality. The panel lines are not recessed. The sprues are old and not crisp like a Tamiya kit; however, you can't get a bomber like this for this price. Most are triple this amount. This is a great kit for a first time modeler who is not interested in buying a bunch of mod kits to make it look perfect or spend 100 hours on it. It is hard not to be happy with what you get for the price. I plan to use as a quick confidence builder inbetween my longer projects. It will look great once done and tee me up to take on better bomber kits.

This model was fun to build as I have plenty of time on ...
First model I've built since i was a kid. This model was fun to build as I have plenty of time on my hands now with a new born and am home a lot. Fit together great. A lot of nice detail. There is an issue with extra weight on the tail that causes the nose of the plane to come off the ground though. Still a great piece. Can't wait to try my hand at the B-17

Fun build but lots of putty and sanding required
This was a fun build but be prepared to use a lot of putty and sanding as parts didn’t fit together well. Also, the front windows were frustrating to fit together. Make sure you use plenty of clamps. The final product looks great!

Great Model.
I really like this model although I would not consider it a skill level of 2. More like 3, you will need to have model putty and emery cloth to put it together where it looks really good. You can simply put it together by following the incuded directions but all of the pieces will not fit together properly and (Personaly) I think it will not look good if viewed up close. I would not recommend this for a first build for anyone, try some simpler models first, like the P51 mustang, or car models.

Lots of problems but..
If you look through other reviews you will see the theme. Yes the instructions are a little vague as to exact placement of parts. This gets very critical when trying to place the 5 guns for the nose. When I followed the directions and then went to place the window no good, guns wouldn't line up with holes. Had to remove everything and start over. Finally used the other window and went with the two gun set up. The plane will not balance after it is put together. Had to place over an ounce of lead in the nose to get it to sit on the wheels. There are multiple gaps that need to be filled. With all that said if you persevere you will end up with a very nice model that is very interesting and a historical part of the American war effort.

Poor condition of injection moulded plastic, Transfers were so old they cracked when trying to adhere. Box looked like it had been knocked around in transport. Wont do this again buy local!!
