Q: I have a new nerf rival charger mxx-1200. i have tried 2 new sets of batteries and it does not work. i got a new gun and same thing.??? please help

Thank you so much for this. My son was extremely disappointed the gun wouldn't work after trying two sets of batteries. Got it for Christmas and we are now outside of the return window... We weren't making sure the jam door clicked. It works now and you made his year.

Q: Can anyone confirm whether rechargeable batteries work with this?

I'm seeing a lot of mixed answers on here so I'll give my take but pretty much yes you can, I am personally using Eneloop rechargeable double a batteries and in order to make it work since the gun takes C batteries I used a c battery adapter you pretty much just put the double A battery inside of a c battery case and the double A battery turns into a c battery and it's been working great in fact it actually outputs a lot more power then regular C batteries, at least that's how it worked for me and it still works perfectly fine I only use rechargeable batteries with mine and I've have had no problems whatsoever at all
