That said, a small tip: you’ll want to evenly distribute the weight around the rack if you’re hanging a lot of items. If it's lopsided, it can tilt a bit, which isn’t a dealbreaker, just something to be mindful of. Cheap to buy, easy to assemble, great to organize my ties.. I absolutely love it. And I have a spare with will now motivate me to buy more ties. Hangs easy, light weight, hangs ties of all lengths, nice and sturdy.

I purchase these for my husband and it gets the job done. It is nice that it rotates and it is strong enough to hold up all of his ties, even doubled up. I did dock a star because it is really just cheap plastic, but you can't tell that in the closet itself unless you look too closely. It really deserves 4.5 stars, because it is by far the most compact option that I could find and saves a ton of space.

Bought this with the intention of hanging my scarves and belts, of which I have maybe 12 of each. Terrible mistake, the hooks are much too close together to be used as displayed, and I can really only get a scarf on every other hook. These aren't even thick winter scarves, they're the thin ~fashion accessory~ kind. The belts? Same issue, and none of them are the kind you'd find at a rodeo (read: big, gawdy). I imagine this does work exceedingly well for ties, which don't have much bulk, and have a smooth texture, so they don't get stuck. But overall I am disappointed with this purchase. EDIT 9/16: The seller contacted me recently and offered me the larger version of the product as a resolution to my issue. After receiving and testing out this new version, I am updating this review to reflect how much more effective the larger version is. Whereas the smaller version was not a good storage solution for my belts or scarves, the larger size is much better. All of my belts and scarves fit without bunching up or taking up multiple hooks, and they can be removed individually, without having to take others off the hooks to get to the belt I actually want. I highly recommend using this larger version for bulkier items, it is excellent.

Two tie holders were in the box. They are made of a heavy plastic that is slightly flexible. I love the idea that it turns to allow better access to each tie. The problem is the lip on it isn't high enough and ties can easily slide off. If you keep it perfectly straight you are fine but if you tilt it slightly, all ties fall on the floor. The first one I received broke. I put the ties on it and tried to hang it in the closet but the hanger snapped off. The second one is holding up fine but I'm kind of afraid to touch it. I don't want all the ties to fall off again.

The hardest part is getting the hook popped into the base, which takes considerable pressure. Once that's done, the base turns smoothly so you can look at all the ties. It holds quite a few ties and seems nice and strong. If you have a closet that is very full I wouldn't recommend it. It's kind of an awkward shape for a packed closet. You need something slimmer. For us, none of our closets are full so it has plenty of room to hang. I bought a 2-pack to try out and we liked it so well that we bought two more. Please note that over the years we have tried probably six different solutions for hanging ties. And this is the best one yet. We make sure that we hang the ties evenly spaced so it doesn't tip to one side but all told it's a great little accessory!

These have been doing the job for us. I bought them because my hubby and son were using hangers to sling their ties over, and that just wasn't working out. This could earn an 'I love it' (aka a 5 star rating) if it had the ability to move better in the closet. What I mean is, add something at the place where the hanger itself and the tie holder meets, so that it flexes and pivots when the clothes push against it. Every time my hubby pushes his clothes around, and they push against the tie rack, the rack gets turned sideways. It would be nice if it could somehow flex and move to handle that better. Hopefully I'm making sense... :)

An innovative and helpful product. In time, quality can be improved. Consider adding optional covers for individual ties that can be used during travel.
