The linkage between good intentions and good outcomes
When I look at a new book or resource, I find myself first searching for a few answers about the author and book. Why has the author written it? What is the author’s desired end? What credibility does the author have? I ran The Family Legacy: Shaping Culture from the Inside Out through that interrogation and obtained some answers. Randy Bixby clearly states, “My passion is to address people of faith at the gates of culture.” He clearly desires to help families survive and thrive in the midst of a family-corrosive culture and build a healthy family culture that yields a lasting legacy. His credibility as a voice is not just founded on years and varieties of leadership experiences. He also candidly shares that he has experienced his own brokenness. Things have not always gone well with his own family; however, he has resolved to not wallow as a victim. Instead, Randy determined to redemptively learn from that pain to discover and chart an uplifting and developmental path that is also applicable to other families. He is striving to walk a path that he recommends to others. That developmental process begins with better understanding of self, others, and family. What Randy refers to in this book as protocols is a system. The linkage between good intentions and good outcomes is often a workable system. What makes a system workable? It is simple and sustainable. This book and accompanying resources could be what you need to either establish or continue the development of a healthy culture and enduring legacy in your family.

A GIFT TO RESTORE FAMILIES
The Family Legacy book is so needed at this time!!I like that it is not only a step by step blueprint for families to follow for transformation, but the project also provides tools, activities and COACHING!!Addirionally, families can choose the level of assistance needed to support them through the process. His list of stats showing the decay of family, society, and morality was a clear sign this book is vital. For over 28 years, I have worked as a Case Manager with troubled folks, and I will say that lack of identity and a supportive family were common factors. This blueprint can really contribute to families experiencing a bit of "Heaven on Earth!"

Randy's focus on family relationship legacy is perfect timing for me
Randy’s “The Family Legacy” showcases the talent and skill God has given him to be an influencer. I spent a transformational weekend, over 8 years ago, with he and a very diverse small group; we were looking to discover something new about our identity and legacy. Randy is expertly skilled in in using experiential training tools to create experiential learning experiences. Those memories of that weekend continue to influence my understanding of relationships. Becoming aware of our own unique identity, becoming intentional, and accountable are the key ingredients for creating legacy relationships. Randy is skilled in creating those “aha” moments, profound realizations about how important our internal perceptions, i.e., how we see ourselves and each other, is to the quality and quantity of personal relationships. I am impressed by how he and Lesli have created a toolbox that contains the tools for building and repairing relationships. His evolving focus on family relationship legacy is perfect timing for me. I am now age 65; I commit to use this book to establish how my life and my children will affect future generations.Keith GrahamKingdom Business Association ChaplainMorningStar MinistriesFt Mill, SC

Now he is taking his formidable body of coaching and training skill and experience and applying it to family life and success. The book is a doorway to a comprehensive set of services, tools, and professional relationships provided by the Cultural Architects network.
