Harry Potter Accessory Kit

This wand is much thicker than I thought it would be. I'm really glad it is too. It's not this skinny thing I thought it would be that I had worried about with my 5 yr old son. It's a chunky piece and holds up well to his play. It's not a solid plastic, it's hollow, and would probably break if bent, but it has held up pretty well so far. The glasses that came with it are adorable and also made well. It's very easy to bend the ear pieces slightly to fit your child's head better so they don't slip off their little noses. This was a fun accessory set to add to my son's dress up trunk.

My 8 yo son used these as part of his halloween costume. I wasn't willing to spend a lot on these accessories, but they really completed his look. The wand is pretty tough, but when I first opened the classes, I was afraid they'd be broken before the trick or treating even started. However, it's 6 months later, and they're still in one piece and looking good. Son still puts them on to play pretend (gently), or when we're reading the books or watching the movie. Just what we needed for a good price.

My 3 yo is going to be Harry Potter for Halloween this year. We got the accessory kit withthe glasses and the wand, and he loves playing with them. I had to adjust the glasses quite a bit so they would stay on his face, but that was too be expected given his age. They are easily adjustable, although I fear that too much adjustment will make them break. The wand is a great toy and appears to be very sturdy and hardy. Great product at a great price!

Although the glasses aren't exactly as they are pictured above (they are a little thicker on the arms of the glasses), they are perfect and durable for the 2-year-old we gifted it to. The wand is as pictured and made of plastic, and we did not experience any paint chipping issues. As mentioned in another comment, this is perfect for a fun accessory or to compliment a costume, but don't expect movie replica quality. Overall, the wand and glasses both have taken a beating over the week our nephew has been "swish and flick"-ing with them, and they have held up quite well!

After a year of watching my kids cast spells with their wands, I finally got my own. The wand is a little on the light side, without the heft of the study ones we purchased at Diagon Alley. The Avis! spell is addicting, but, truthfully, we aren't really sure what to do with all the resultant birds. I expected them to fly away, but they seem to congregate at our house, and, worse yet, they have invited their friends. Since I've only mastered the Avis! spell, the birds keep multiplying. I have hopes I will perfect the Bewitched Sleeping spell, as I need it both for the kids and those darn birds.

I bought this set along with the Harry Potter costume. I had told my son that might be able to get the glasses somewhere else cheaper and that we could just get a piece of wood that he could use as a Wand. He did not want to take that route so we bought it. It least I was happy that it was cheaper getting the pair together instead of getting the individual items. Also, it was much cheaper getting every thing online than at the physical store.

My girls love playing with their own set, pretending to be wizards. The wands are gigantic and very durable. I'm very happy with this purchase, especially considering price compared to other harry potter-type wands.

I am glad that I bought the costume for my son early this year. He wanted to be Harry Potter. Since you buy the robe and the accessories separately, I searched out a product to allow me to do this without breaking the bank. This is a great deal because you get a wand and the glasses for not too much money. However, we ended up having to return two sets prior to receiving one that was not broken. The glasses tend to come cracked. They would both still have been usable, because Harry's glasses seem to be broken half the time in the books anyway. However, I didn't feel like starting the Halloween night with broken glasses. Though I am sure we will probably be ending the night with them broken. With all that being said, for the price these are worth it. My son absolutely LOVES them and they do make him look like Harry Potter.
