Temptooth #1 Seller Trusted Patented Temporary Tooth Replacement Product

Absolute lifesaver. My temporary bridge fell out and I can't afford getting permanents. So I made my own bridge with Temp Tooth, eventhough the product is not sold for that purpose, as you can see from my photos, I brilliantly crafted my own bridge thanks to this product. It helps that I have the 2 stub teeth, but basically I used 14 beads for each tooth. I did one tooth at a time starting with the stub and worked my way across. The key to making a perfect bridge with this product is don't try to shape the tooth perfectly in your mouth, because you're going to do the shaping with a straight razor blade. Just get it to fit and get it the right size. The size and fit is the most important. Once you make the first tooth, put it in the freezer for about 30 seconds. That causes it to expand and solidify. Step 2, put the tooth you just made back in your mouth. If you did it right, it should go on the stub perfectly. Step 3, do the same thing for the other stub. Now you should have two false teeth that fit perfectly over your stubs. Now the fun part: creating the middle tooth and making the bridge. All you have to do is put the 2 false teeth in your mouth and hold them in place with your bottom teeth, then make the middle tooth and shape it between the outer 2 teeth. When you're doing this, make sure the middle one is somewhat hot so that it will stick to the 2 outer teeth. Also, make sure the teeth are in relative proportions to regular teeth. Remember, they don't have to be perfect at this stage, because you're going to make them perfect later with the razor blade. Now, once you got the middle tooth in between the other 2 teeth, pull all three out altogether slowly and make sure they stay together because they will be loosely stuck together. Take a tweezer and grip one end of the bridge with the tweezer. Then, dip the entire bridge in boiling hot water for 2 seconds. This will cause the bridge to stick together more tightly. Take it out, blow it real quick, and then immediately put it back in your mouth so that you don't lose the shape. Use your index and thumb fingers to press the front and back part together to get a tighter grip on your stubs. Also push on the part next to your upper gums to make sure that part is firmly against your gums.Repeat this step of putting the bridge in boiling hot water 1 or 2 times to make sure the entire unit is firmly stuck together. After each time, put it back in your mouth to reshape it. Now, put the whole unit in the freezer for about 30 seconds. This will cause it to solidify and expand. When you take it out, now you have a fully functioning bridge. All you have to do now is shape it to perfection with a razor blade. Just chisel two outer grooves to create the appearance of connecting teeth. And then cut away at the bottom of the bridge to create the appearance of the bottom of each teeth. If you get confused, you can look at a picture online of some teeth to get an idea of how it should look. The most important part of your chiseling is the bite. So if you have an overbite like me, you will need to cut away at the back of the bridge to give your bottom teeth room to chew. You may also want to cut away at the back of the bridge to give your tongue some room and to make it feel natural. If you did everything right, you will notice that the bridge stays in your mouth without falling out. However you will need some fixodent to make it hold all day for talking and chewing. To change the color, I soaked it in Lipton Black Tea for about 6 hours, and it came out perfectly like my other teeth. However, as you can see from my photos, the color will go away once you brush it. Anyway, what a lifesaver. I've talked to people in person and no one ever noticed the difference. This product easily saved me $3,000 that I don't have. Whoever made this product is a GENIUS!!! Thank you.

So here's my story, right up front: I had a dental mishap years ago involving an accident. I then went through a very long stretch of time where I was suffering through depression so debilitating and all encompassing, that I largely stopped taking care of my teeth. Although my mental health would eventually improve to the point of taking better care of myself, the damage was already done. Between the accident and the years of neglect that followed, most of my teeth are in varying stages of decay, and thus, very brittle - so much so, in fact, that one of my upper front teeth recently busted off as I bit into a sub. This was immediately devastating. After I realized what happened, I basically went into a panic. It looked horrible. I looked horrible. Making matters worse is the fact that I'm visiting someone who is very important to me - someone whom I've not been able to see in person since COVID began, and have thus been excited about for years. Furthermore, her mom actually wants to meet me for the first time. To say that I felt utterly crushed and demoralized by losing this tooth just days ahead of seeing them would be an understatement. Sadly, I can't even see the dentist about it until December. Being desperate for a way to do something - ANYTHING - to not look so utterly horrible, I eventually stumbled upon DIY teeth using heated silicone beads, of which, TempTooth appeared to be the most well known brand associated with that type of dental repaoit. Swayed by their almost suspiciously good reviews and video tutorials / testimonials, I decided to get a kit - and I cannot express how happy I am that I did. After just 20 to 25 mins, I was able to successfully craft a temporary tooth that honestly looks really amazing. So amazing, in fact, that I ended up needing to discolor and chip it a little bit, just so it wouldn't stand out too much whilst nestled between the low-quality real teeth that surround it 🤣 It took only two attempts to get it right. The few additional tweaks that I'd made in post-production were fairly simple and not time consuming. So, what about the kit itself? The package basically comes with a small vial-bottle of beads, another empty bottle-vial to keep your finished teeth in, a few small dental tools (such as a pick, tweezers, a dental mini mirror), detailed instructions, and the reputation for safety that comes with be a prominent brand (something not necessarily given on generics). While all of that is great I won't lie: I found the tools to be almost entirely useless. Although some will surely appreciate the added utility, I haven't yet found much of any. Aside from from very briefly using the tweezers, I basically just used my fingers to form and shape the beads into a tooth, literally by hand. So what about the beads themselves - what do they do? Although just little round objects in the vial, when exposed to high liquid heat, they become translucent and highly malleable. When left left cool again, the (now roughly tooth shaped) silicone hardens and becomes an opaque white hue. That the silicone becomes so incredibly malleable with heat means that screwing up a tooth is not the end of the world. Simply put the failed tooth back into very hot water again until it melts, and then try again. You can use the same beads again and again, which means thay there are no permanent consequences for mistakes. Conversely, if a tooth is just a little too long or sharp on the edges but otherwise perfect, you can simply trim or file it it down with a pair of nail clippers - no re-melting necessary. Now that a tooth is cracted, how well will it stay in place? Well, if you follow the instructions, it should be pretty sturdy. For me, in regular use, it's been great so far, and has felt reasonable secure when eating very light foods. However I would probably not feel incredibly confident about the tooth staying put for the entirety of a much larger, heavier meal filled with lots of talking, and I'm pretty sure that biting into a very sticky, gooey, chewy type of food would probably cause it to almost instantly come right off - something which could definitely be awkward in most social situations. As such, I plan on purchasing a dental adhesive gel, if only for the added peace of mind. So yeah - all in all - I'm happy to say that my first finished TempTooth looks and feels great, and it's far exceeded my (admittedly low) expectations. Because of TempTooth, I can suddenly go on my trip next week with the confidence that comes from not being deathly afraid of smiling or laughing with friends. Generic silicone beads can be purchased for much less, but if, like me, you're in a hurry and don't want to risk going with a lesser known, untested brand, you can't go wrong with getting a TempTooth kit. And although the dental tools that come with it border on being useless, the brand's reputation alone will probably make the extra cost worth it.

I have all 6 of my front teeth missing and need a bridge but I can’t afford it right now. I was able to make multiple with this product relatively easily! It took a lot of trial and error, but eventually I got it! The ONE thing I have a problem with is how white it is, and artificial coloring stains it VERY easy. I made Christmas cookies and ate the frosting with them in and it stained my teeth neon yellow. I had to make a new one because I couldn’t get the color out so I try to avoid eating anything artificial with them in. I’m lucky with how white they are because my top lip covers my teeth very well so it’s hard to notice. Still a very good product, they hold up really well! If you need a bridge I can give you a step by step process bellow. Making the bridge you need a METAL file, a nail buffer, and a razor blade/Exacto knife, scissors, dry erase marker. Follow the instructions on the box, it is very hard to ADD product, so you will want to use more than you might need in the beginning and cut it away. Obviously start with placing the beads in the hot water, waiting for them to be clear. I put them on a spoon and slowly put in the water so it was easier to pull out, form them into a “snake” about the length of the bridge you need, you will want to anchor this on 2 teeth on either side of the gap you have. Place it over the front of the teeth and gap and fold it backwards to form all around the teeth. Use your tongue to hold it in the back and your fingers to blend it with your gums in the front. Allow any excess to flow over the side. I used my finger nails to mark where to cut off the excess and help push it around my anchor teeth. You don’t have a lot of time until it starts to harden so you may have to start over until you can get the hang of it! Once you have the bridge across the teeth, it will look flat and that’s okay, wait for it to harden enough to hold shape and then run under cold water to finish the hardening process. This is a good time to take small scissors and cut of any big excess pieces. You will use the knife to get the smaller stuff off. Once hard put it back in to make sure it’s a tight fit and looks relatively even across with your other teeth. If you are happy take it out and start guessing where you will carve out each tooth. I used a dry erase marker while it was in my mouth to mark where each tooth would go. *Remember teeth are not perfect so these don’t need to be!* Now take the knife and start slightly carving. I started with “triangles” to mimic the natural curve to the bottom of teeth and a slight cap, and then carved as little as possible until I was happy. Once happy take your metal file and kind of smooth out and edges or tiny bits of plastic that are left. After the file it will be rough, so take the buffer and gently “buff” it to help smooth out the roughness from the file. Like I said you can always start over by putting it back in the water. When brushing teeth I take it off and brush it by itself, and I don’t wear it while sleeping but I left it in on accident one day and it was fine. I have made 2 bridges and still have more product. I do not recommend trying to make individual teeth and turning them into a bridge but that’s because I couldn’t figure it out. It is really hard to adhere them together. If you have a good fit but notice you can’t quite anchor it properly use some denture glue to help you. I hope this helped!

I really love this product so far (full disclosure: I just got this item today. I am also NOT a licensed dentist or any other type of medical practitioner. Take that under advisement when considering my review). It comes with quality tools that are useful in shaping the Temptooth and a large quantity of the little white beads that the Temptooth is made from. I got this for my two broken teeth: one in the top front of my mouth (a baby tooth that never was displaced by an adult tooth that grew in sideways) and the other the furthest molar back on my lower jaw (about 1/2 of my natural molar remains - the middle of this molar is exposed). Top tooth: This product is thus far great for my broken top canine tooth! It looks very realistic from a normal-interaction distance and provides enough coverage such that cold and hot foods do not cause sensitivity in that area. I imagine that it's best to remove this at night and when brushing your teeth if you're using this to provide coverage for a significantly chipped tooth, however, eating with it in was not problematic for me. It took me a few tries to get the shape right (you don't want to use too much material) as it hardens rather quickly (about 1 - 2 minutes in a 70°F room). I've removed it and put it back in a handful of times and it does just snap into place. I foresee myself using this on a daily basis - I love it! Lower jaw molar: This tooth has been causing me more problems and is more sensitive than my baby canine. I got the Temptooth in successfully and was satisfied to be able to drink both a cold and a hot beverage without sensitivity or pain! However, I tried chewing a pretty soft burger with this in place and it caused a significant amount of pain. That's OK, though, as I don't expect plastic beads to work miracles. I have plans to restore functionality without pain to this tooth. I will see if and how Temptooth will play a role in this endeavor in the future. Also, for whatever it's worth to anyone reading this review (and I'm including this because you may be considering this product as you're in a similar position): I recently went to a dentist who wanted to perform a myriad of procedures in my mouth for a grand total of over 6k. I have decent credit so I was able to get approved for CareCredit sufficient to cover all those procedures but, nonetheless, the prospect of potentially ruining my credit and having a sizeable monthly payment for years... Well, meh. Relevantly, she wanted to root canal and crown the two teeth discussed in this review. So, I spent a few hours online reading about root canals and crowning. I reached the conclusion that, for me, that was not a good option. A root canal is essentially embalming part of your jaw and the tooth in order to "preserve" it. I don't want to run the risk of creating deadly anaerobic bacteria in my jaw but I also don't want a gap that could lead to bone deterioration and the loosening of the tooth above my molar. What to do? Well, I've decided to stick thoroughly to an oral cleaning regimen involving 2-3x daily brushing with remineralizing toothpaste, a waterpik machine 2x a day, and a remineralizing ointment drop for both teeth and put into the waterpik machine. I was able to get an antibiotic prescription that has significantly helped calm the sensitivity in the back of my jaw (I intend to call them back up and get on their case until I get something stronger than Amoxicillin if the unprovoked dull pain isn't fully resolved, despite the front desk woman claiming that if Amoxicillin doesn't clear it up, nothing will 🤔) . I am still considering a "deep cleaning" for my level 4 teeth but want to first complete at least 8 weeks of my daily oral cleaning regime before going back and asking for a re-evaluation of the size of the gaps between my gums and teeth. I'm content to just keep using Temptooth as needed for the mostly cosmetic issue with my canine tooth. However, for my molar, I intend to try pulp capping products (after removal of really sickly tooth tissue, aeration, and decent "sterilization" of the exposed tooth material) followed, potentiality, by harder capping-like materials. FWIW, if you're interested, use your favorite search engine to read about pulp caps and the material used in contact lenses as potential tooth fillers (it's hard and protective yet breathable, kinda like your real teeth). Ultimately, if my efforts fail, I'll probably go back and just have my molar pulled but I have real hope that I will be able to preserve what remains of my teeth, in a pain free and relatively healthy state, all while saving thousands of dollars and my health in old age. Man I had a crown come out after a terrible dentistry failed me several times. This is my go too to make sure I don’t have a missing tooth. It isn’t perfect t but it def raises my confidence of having a missing tooth. Also there has been plenty of people that never knew it was a fake tooth. So that’s a super positive rating!

This is a pricey product for the amount of thermoplastic beads you get. With that said, they include far more than enough to shape one tooth. Could probably do an entire upper jaw maybe even whole mouth veneer style out of the supply. The dental tools that come with are honestly impressively high quality but, the tools and the thermoplastic beads are all you get here and that was not enough in my situation. I was new to the temporary tooth game so didnt know at all what to look for in a kit, just figured this “#1 seller temptooth” kit would be enough to pull together a quick fix for photos the next day and unfortunately there was no way I was going to be able to get anything close to a realistic looking result, even with my carving skills and rotary tool, without experience and especially without a mold. My situation being three front teeth broken at a slant, not just a missing tooth like this is marketed for btw. The instructions are well laid out and I could see it being maybe easy to make a singular thing happen with what’s given. The plastic beads are durable and easy to mold- they don’t stay pliable for a super long time (as long as you have hot water nearby, can keep them pliable for however long)- people use these thermoplastics for all sorts of creating like tiny figurines or prototypes or small replacement parts… They’re well known for their integrity and the ones in the kit dont differ from that standard. Bottom line is it’s plastic- not uncomfortable but not necessarily comfortable- all depends on how you shape the fit. I’ve made several (terrible up close, fine for group photos) quick fixes out of the same kit, also spilled a bunch on my carpet once, and still have plenty left.

So much better than the flipper my dentist gave me! Long story short, an old bike injury came back to haunt me when my front tooth fell out about a month ago. I went to the dentist and they scheduled me for an implant in a couple months (after everything heals) and fitted me for a “flipper tooth” to wear in the meantime. The flipper took up half my mouth and was sooo uncomfortable that I only used it when I was around people and even then I had to take it out to eat comfortably. So when I lost it on a recent trip, I was almost relieved but also didn’t want a hole in my mouth so I rushed ordered this product unsure if it would work. It was super easy to make the tooth. Just read all the instructions and take your time. I melted down the beads in hot tea like they recommend since the rest of my teeth are already tea stained. If you are able to paint your nails or make little play dough balls, you’ll have no trouble working with this material. If you aren’t that nimble, you might need a friend to help. Right after you pull the melted beads out the hot water, the material can be a little slippery to work with but within a few seconds, it becomes a sort of soft wax consistency and then you can mold it easier. My first attempt was good but not perfect so I just put the “tooth” back in the hot tea until it was malleable and adjusted it a little. I also used the tools it came with and nail clippers to fine tune it but that’s not completely necessary. You end up leaving extra material flat against the back of your teeth to hold it in place and that’s why it’s so much more comfortable and less obtrusive than the flipper the dentist gives you. It does feel temporary which is fine for me (I just need it for a month) but if you are a victim of the U.S. healthcare system, they give you enough material to make 10 teeth total so you could just keep making new ones as needed. UPDATE (6 weeks later): This material does stain. So I'd recommend removing the false tooth when drinking tea or coffee. It even stained some when I ate yellow curry. I've ended up making more teeth as the old ones stained but I've become a lot quicker and better at making teeth in the process. Takes me less than five minutes now. :)

if you ever loose your tooth in an accident or due to other reasons, it would be very embarrassing to walk around with this gaping hole in your mouth especially for people who go to work and meet others. It would be nice to have something to get rid of that black hole. Something that won't break your bank account. Well, it has to be TempTooth. For no apparent reason, one of my tooth fell off and it happened to be the one you least expected - my front tooth. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I was so freaked out and felt so helpless. That's when I heard about TempTooth. I placed an order and got my package right on time. What do I like about it: 1.) It is very easy to use. 2.) The tooth looks very natural and blends in with other tooth. You can hardly see any difference. 3.) Although the instruction is somewhat thorough, it is even a lot simpler to make TempTooth. I was worried I was going to mess it up. Simply, I took 13 beads and boiled my 3 cups of coffee. Then, I dropped the beads into the boiling coffee. Let it sit there for about 30 seconds. With the spoon I checked to see if it was clear, then I immediately rolled them into small ball and elongated the beads. Then, I simply placed into the gap and worked with my fingers to get the desired fit and shape. My GOD.....It looked like my own tooth. I was stun and shocked. That was my first try too....Once I became very comfortable I actually played with it shaping and reshaping as I like it. It is true that if you don't take it out before the beads hardens you won't be able to easily take it out. Then you may run into problems later on. The temp tooth looked flawless along with the coffee stain. It blended so well with my other teeth, I myself couldn't tell the difference. This is truly an awesome product. What don't I like about it: 1.) Initially, I tested the beads for any allergic reactions by placing them in my mouth for about a minute as suggested by the instruction. I didn't feel anything or nothing happened. However, there is more to this. I was so happy that I have something to fool my co-workers with. So, I made my TempTooth and had it in my mouth all day at work. As time went on, I started to feel funny in my mouth not to a point of pain or bleeding or anything like that. It just felt weird. I think, I might be just little bit allergic to it not by a whole a lot, but it is certainly annoying. I probably know why. Even though they say it solidifies to form your tooth which it does pretty well actually, in your mouth it gets soaked in your saliva and gets rubbed on by your tongue all the time. This over time slowly breaks or releases tiny amount of the TempTooth particles into your mouth. Therefore you could run into health problem later on. I am not saying that this is the case with everyone but this is what I noticed just from having the TempTooth in my mouth just one whole day. That weird sensation is still in my mouth even though I took out the TempTooth immediately right after work. You probably should take it out if you are at home. From what I understand is that this is TRULY temp tooth. You only use it when you need it like going out to party or meet someone or you going to work or an Interview. From what I experienced, I wouldn't have it any more than I need to. If it wasn't for the side effect I am feeling, I would give it 5 stars in a heartbeat. I wish you could take the TempTooth and truly turn it into something as hard as porcelain or something hard that won't dissolve in your mouth over time. Other than the side effect, I love this product. Going to a dentist will definitely break the bank. However, it doesn't mean you are not going to run into complication there either - like rejection, infection and not to mention the pain you have to put with. I am not trying to scare anyone from trying this product, but I am stating what my experience has been with product. Like I said, it might different for others. UPDATE (03/10/2015): My allergic reaction I mentioned above no longer exists. I have been wearing my TempTooth for over a year now and noticed that it discolored a lot compared to my real teeth. I will probably have to make an another one soon. One thing I forgot to mention above is that you have to THOROUGHLY run the temptooth through cold water once you make it before you put it on. This actually works! I thought well Ill give it a go and if it fails so be it! I devised an upper molar tooth as per the instructions . I went back to my dentist for a cleanup and She said "what's that, where did you get it"> I said while I work on my implant strategy I have this temp solution, you shook have seen here face !!! Get it , it works and you may need Mohave a few goes until you get to right, and you can fie it down with a tools to make it fit well.

I bought this product because of all the good reviews. I didn’t use it for quite a while, and it did take a few goes to get it to work. The instructions said to melt the pellets material in very not but not boiling water. I tried this at first but nothing happened. The pellets remained hard and white. So I threw caution to the wind and DID use boiling water, which worked great. Putting the pellets in a small bowl with boiling water quickly caused the material to become clear - as per the instructions - and using a small fork I fished it out and easily moulded a new “tooth”. I did this 3 days in a row while I was waiting for my dentist appointment. On the first 2 days eating caused it to fall out but on the 3rd I ate pasta at a restaurant and it stayed in.

I'm in my 20s and very recently lost a front tooth from it cracking on some hard food. It has been absolutely devastating, unfortunately it's super hard to get quick dentist appointments and it's £3000 for an implant. I work in a customer facing role and about to graduate so it's essential I have a front tooth not just for confidence but also so I can speak clearly. I was VERY skeptical of this product but thought I'd give it a shot. I'd say it's probably one of the best purchases I've made this year. Firstly, I'd say for actually making the tooth it can be a bit of a fiddle at first. The first tooth i made didn't look very good but fit fantastic, I remade it a few times and flip flopped between it fitting great and looking great so it's something you need practice with. I have settled on the one I've got in the photos because it's better then a massive hole and looks okayish. Id also suggest soaking it in tea for 5 to 10 minutes because it is BRIGHT white if you don't. It's relatively easy to shape and there's enough time to do it before it completely sets. You get some dental tools, the material to make the teeth and a little tub to store your teeth when not using. If you mess up really badly on one you can reuse the material and stick in in hot water again and try again so it's not imperative you get it right the first time. I wore this today at work for about 9 hours and it stayed put, I was lisping a little but less so then having no tooth at all, but ifyou have trouble with it moving I'd suggest a bit of denture glue something i might try myself soon. I think comfort depends on the tooth you're making and how yu make it, mine isn't uncomfortable but felt a little strange at first. Ive only worn it one full day but I've taken it out the eat and drink just incase. This has been a godsend for me, I really reccomend getting this if you're missing teeth In your smile zone and are insecure, can't afford alternatives, or are simply waiting for an implant or denture. I was unsure about this product but as long as you have patience and follow the instructions it'll do wonders for your smile.

Highly recommend. At age 63 lost a front lower tooth - horrible experience - tongue bashing into other teeth, lisping when speaking. I am getting a bridge in a couple of months. Meantime Temptooth really easy to form and fix in mouth. After 3 attempts got it right (easy - just reheat and remould like Blu-Tak). Tooth has been in for 10 days and is still great. I almost think I do not need to spend £700 on a bridge....
