Smells bad, works great
First off, this is the worst smelling thing I have ever put on my head lol! Like rotten garlic egg farts. It’s extremely pungent, so beware! That said, it does work. I wanted to go back to my natural blonde. I have been dyeing my hair brown black for a long time, so my ends really didn’t lift much. But my mids (more recently dyed) lifted from black to red/ginger in one application. In retrospect I should have gotten the extra strength version, but this did do what it was supposed to. If I had dyed my hair very recently, I imagine it would have taken everything out in one application. I’m saying this worked well because you just can’t lift black dye from blonde hair all in one go, so for my situation, this product did a great job and gave me a less drying head start on the inevitable bleaching I would have to do later.

Did exactly what it was supposed to do
I recently lightened my virgin black/dark brown/grey hair with Feria Downtown Brown. I decided I'd like to go lighter, so I got Color Oops. Here are my takeaways:1. No, it doesn't smell nice. It's a chemical processor. I washed 3x and rinsed for 20 minutes. The smell was almost gone.2. I was anticipating red/brassy results because of my hair's natural base color. But I ended up with a creamy beige with some darker red highlights. It looks pretty cool!3. It dried my hair a good bit, but I followed up with Shea Moisture Intensive Hydration Hair Masque for 30 minutes, then washed, conditioned, and used my leave in. Air dried and it's almost as good as new.**Bonus - that took care of the rest of the odor.I would absolutely buy this again. I followed the directions to a T and got precisely the results advertised, only better.Read the package, follow the directions, and understand the limitations.

Waste of money and hair is damaged
A lot of work to remove a tiny bit of color. This product wore me out. Took so much washing and rinsing. My back and arms were killing me. In the end the color was still there . Waste of time, money and energy. For the love of God do not buy this product.

It got a good bit of color out
I’ve had my hair bleached for a while and used henna for a good bit to get a copper color, I decided a few months ago to stop using henna and switched to mostly using arctic fox ginger mix to achieve the copper orange. Recently, once it faded I decided to use punky color in a diluted red to get closer to a peachy pink but didn’t get the ratio correct and it was RED. So I ordered this product to try and get a good bit of the red out but it didn’t seem to get any of the red that had been dyed over the henna so I think the dye must have bonded with the henna. It got just about everything else out and didn’t leave my hair feeling horrible. I would say if you’ve only used bleach and semi-permanent dyes you’ve got a pretty good chance of getting most, if not all of the color our with this.

Works to an extent - doesn't smell as bad as everyone says
This product does work. However, depending on your hair type/history, it may take a couple tries to lift back to blonde. My hair history:My ends were bleached blonde close to a year ago. I dyed over it with blue black semi-permanent dye, then bleached again around 8 months ago. I used Overtone in red, and after that faded, I dyed over it with a permanent burgundy color. When that faded, I went over it again with the blue black semi-permanent dye. So my hair had several layers of all kinds of hair dye in there.Usage/experience:-The product does not smell as terribly as everyone makes it sound. Yes, there's some rotten egg smell in there, but not overwhelmingly. I did notice in the directions it says not to use in a cold room - this may have affected my results, as my house gets very cold in the fall/winter and I opened a window (everyone said to get ventilation for the bad smell; maybe that wasn't necessary imo due to the alright smell).-The product is very thin and liquid-y, so be sure to line your counter/bathroom floor with something.-I applied heat with a hairdryer multiple times for a few minutes to help process it (and to hopefully counteract the cold of my room).-I wouldn't say the product felt very conditioning. Although, it didn't dry out my hair either (maybe the extra-strength one does?). Be careful when you're shampooing your hair multiple times after - my hair got dry and clumped into a knot that I had to cut out :cResults:When I started, I had medium-dark brown hair on my ends. I would say it lifted to a light-medium brown. Not as light as I would've liked, but I think it will be easier for me to bleach my hair evenly going forward. I'm not sure I'd purchase this product again rather than directly going to bleach.

Henna Users Can Use This Product!
I used Copper henna from Henna Maiden in my hair two different times and was told it’d never come out, and that I’d have to grow my hair out. I was also told that henna won’t allow your hair to absorbe any color you try and dye over it. I was freakin out! After doing some research online I found Color Oops and that it could potentially remove the henna. Well, it removed a good portion of it! I followed the directions exactly, rinsed and shampooed. After, I was sad to see the copper was still there. It was a lot lighter than it was, which made me happy, but I wasn’t sure if the new dye would take. I used a medium ash brown to balance the red tones. I have to say I am happy with the results because it allowed me to dye my hair another color and remove most of the henna. If I had used black henna I might be skeptical but I’d probably still buy this product. My hair after was a little dry but after I blow dried it, it was sooo soft. Lastly, even though It didn’t remove all of the henna color, it was still enough for me to be satisfied and that’s all that matters. Thanks Color Oops.

Awesome!!!
Product did exactly as described!! I had put a box dye in my hair it was supposed to be an Auburn orange color but it came out burgundy instead, I used this product on my hair and it turned my hair and orange yellow color and did not do much damage to my hair the only downside is it does have a funny smell but I would rather deal with a funny smell and get the unwanted hair dye out of my hair. I am very pleased.
