Easy and quick
This was easy and quick! Very easy to use. Just microwave and slap it on. It sometimes doesn't pick up all the hairs the first go, but the second time it does just fine. Very easy to use. The lotion it comes with is great too. I definitely get multiple uses out of it. Not sure if it's supposed to be a one use thing but I definitely use it multiple times.

Love Sally Hansen microwave wax is next best thing to going to the Salon
My husband had been making fun of me for 2 weeks about my eyebrows which he never noticed before ever. However, he noticed this time and kept saying I needed to wax because it looked like my eyebrows were about to reach out and grab him. So, of course I had to do something fast. I do both with going to get them done at a salon or doing it myself with Sally Hansen microwave wax. I have been using Sally for years so I am familiar with how to use it properly in a way that won't burn me or mess up my eyebrows. I usually buy it at Walmart or Walgreens but, with covid I don't go out much. So I opted to order from Amazon because they have everything. I ordered it and received it the next day. So happy for the convince. I put it in the microwave for 2 min. Then let it cool down to a very mild tacky consistency. I gently apply with the wood first near the close area to the sculpture part of the eyebrows hairs and proceed more wax with the white or blue plastic applicator in the area of the most unwanted hairs that needs to be removed. I apply a bit more heavy in that area because it helps when it's time to pull. So after the heavier application I let it dry. Next thing I do is get the wood and pick away the wax upward just a little. Enough to strip it off completely with my fingers. It takes most of the hair off and then I use the twizers and clean it up what was missed. It's must be a gentle process but, if done right there is no burns or mess ups. I have perfected the way I do it. And as usual it came out perfect. For those folks who burn themselves I would say you need to melt the wax and let it cool. Use both the wood and the blue or white applicator once the wax is mildly tacky because at that consistency its not too hot. If you try to use the blue or white applicator alone chances are you will take a chunk that you didn't mean to. So use the wood first near the sculpting part and then use the applicator for the remaining area. Follow these instructions and you won't go wrong with burns or mess ups. It's a great product and I will aways continue to buy it.

Do not buy
Horrible. I’m not sure if I got an expired box or what. I started out warming up the wax in the microwave and it would not liquify. I heated it for nearly 4 minutes to get it melted. On the first application to my eyebrow it instantly hardened on my skin before I could get the wax strip on and therefore pulled no hair off. I tried one more time and same thing. The wax is now STUCK on my face, literally (see pic)! After irritating the heck out of my skin by trying to pull the dried wax off I decided to try some oil which helped a little to loosen it. My eyebrows are painfully sore and I’m pretty sure I’m missing some skin. This went in the trash immediately.

Perfect
I use to use this product all the time, but then I got hooked on threading. Nwo of course I can't get them threaded because of the plague, so I came looking for this exact kit. Works like a charm, exactly the same as I remembered it. Within twenty minutes of its arrival my brows were perfect. There is a learning curve if you've never used it before, read the instructions and do a practice patch on your arm before you go for the brow. I personally use aloe afterwards the "aftercare lotion" doesn't work for me, it gets a little itchy. (but my skin is very fussy, your mileage may vary.) Also even though this product DOES work fine without muslin strips, get some. It makes it ten times faster and easier to clean up after. It sets up pretty fast so have a strip ready to smooth over the wax before it sets up, wait a few minutes and then pull fast and flat to the skin back against the direction of the growth and you'll get a nice clean removal with minimal pain. After it's safe to go out again, I will probably return to my threader, because it's nice to have a little pampering and have someone else do it, but it's great to know you can still get this kit for an amazing price to have as a back up at home. I highly recommend this.

Messy and didn’t work
This stuff is great if you like the pain and mess of waxing but don’t want to remove any hair. The little spatula that reads “Ready” when the wax is the right temp was showing “Ready” while just holding it outside of the wax, so I couldn’t tell if it was really ready or not when I dipped it in the wax because I could still see the “Ready” but it was slightly faded. Dumb. The wax in the pot cools by the time you’re done applying it to one area and have waited for it to cool enough to rip off. So you’re left with a stringy hardening crusty mess of cold wax that you can’t use again without heating it up. And if you heat it for another 90 seconds that’s too long and 15-30 overheats the still warm wax in the pot but not the crusty mess around the edge. And I don’t even know how to begin to get it off the spatula to clean it. I guess let it cool completely and chip it off. Oh yeah, and I still have hair on my face. And yes I let it grow to 1/4” so I looked like a full on bearded lady for several days waiting for it to be long enough. And it didn’t come off. This is why I don’t wax! Also the wax is cooling as you smush it on your face and I’m so glad I didn’t try my eyebrows first because I don’t even know how I’d get any kind of precision. And the little cartoon eyebrow stickers you get are an absolute joke. God I hate this stuff so much I don’t even know why I tried it.

Works, but has some issues.
For the most part this product works, but I don’t think I would buy it again. Small quantity for an ok price, and can get kind of messy. The heating recommendations are a joke because it takes longer to get the wax to the proper consistency. I think it took 2 minutes 30 seconds the most recent use, but the 1st time I had to frequently reheat to get it to and keep the right consistency . It took about 3minutes to 3min 30 sec. at 30 second intervals. Found through trial and error The temperature paddle is flimsy, inaccurate and not a decent applicator . I recommend finding a smaller wooden flat popsicle stick type applicator. The wax gets messy and stuck up on the side walls of the container. It is hard to get the product away from the wall/rim so that you can properly put the lid on without wasting product. This has a little bit to do with the heating issues, but also because it’s a quick hardening wax .

The best wax
I’ve been using this wax for over 10 years and love it. It’s perfect for quickly waxing your lip and eyebrows and the clean up is so easy since any leftover wax is hard and will just flake off when you wash your face unlike a lot of the waxing strips that leave a super sticky wax residue. I saw a lot of reviews about how the wax melted through the bottom of the jar, which made me a little nervous. I’ve never had that issue in the past and I made sure to be extra cautious when heating up my new jar. I had no problems. I just made sure to do 30 second intervals and when I felt that the bottom of the jar was getting warm but the top was still hard, I just pressed down into the wax to get the heat distributed a little better (obviously be careful as it’s very hot! The wooden stick it comes with helps a lot).

Used for years! Really great product but large learning curve.
I have been using this stuff for YEARS. I am an upper-middle class 30 something, but find it ridiculous to spend $$$ every few weeks to do my eyebrows. My hair grows fast and is very thick and dark, I needed something for clean up and get my brows shaped like once a year. You can get multiple uses out of this (I usually get three to four). Throw out the guide packet and the wooden stick - those do nothing. It used to come with mini tweezers and I’m sad it doesn’t anymore. You will need tweezers for leftover hairs. The wax takes forever to heat up the first time you use it. Put it in the microwave and heat in 30 second increments. You want the wax to make a pool of melted wax in the can. You want at least half of the wax to be melted. Sometimes you have to take the paddle and press into the wax and it’s nicely melted on the underside. Press in and melt some more. You need to be able to have access to a lot of wax and it hardens quickly in the pan. Prep the skin. Clean, no makeup. Use a spoolie and push up your brows so the underside (where I start) is clear of hairs you DONT want to wax. Take the paddle and dip it in to get a little chunk of wax. Rotate the paddle back and forth to kinda cool it, and you want to sort of “puddle” the wax on one side of the paddle. That puddle will be the puddle you drag across your eyebrow, starting inward and moving outwards. You use the puddle to get it closer to the brow itself but it gives you a bit more control to get it on the hairs you want, not the skin below the hairs. Forget the little “ready” word. It does nothing. Press the slightly sticky wax into your hairs just to make sure it’s on there. Let that dry, repeat on the other side. Your puddle will be on the opposite side of the paddle because when you bring your opposite hand up, that puddle is now meeting the underside of your brow. Press inwards to outwards. I rip my wax pieces and put all in the top of the lid, then dump all pieces into the trash. Put the lid back on and you’re good to go for a few more uses. Tips: the wax can be runny. I have definitely dripped wax onto my lashes and that was NOT FUN. Take your time but also be quick or it will drip. Try to leave or add some wax on the “end” of your wax smear, so you have something to grab and rip. Rip on one big motion, like you’re ripping your ex boyfriend out of your brain. Rip in the opposite direction of hair growth. Better to start small and get more confident. I’ve definitely waxed off half my brow before. Hope this helps! Xoxo

Altamente recomendado
