Great product. Very beefy. The included rubber washers eliminate any and all rattling. Just one note on installation, I found a dash of lithium grease on the second interior rubber washer to be helpful. On my rig, it's a press fit, and it helps to have a bit of slide. This is a positive for me, as there is no play, no rattle, but still articulates fully.Would recommend.

They look awesome on my Jeep and seem heavy duty. I wish they had a lock of some kind so that they are theft proof but I tightened the nut down tight so someone will need tools to take them off. I have not used them for a recovery situation yet but when I do I will update my review.

These shackles are well made! I really like the nut and retainer pin set up. I can leave the nut loose without having to worry about it falling off and still not have to use tools every time I want to connect to the shackle.

I sometimes go places I really shouldn't in my Subaru. Wanted a sure way to recover if need be. Subaru has two frame mounted tow points underneath in a rather hard to access spot. Holes are 7/8 (22mm) but you'll never get a 7/8 shackle pin mounted so, 3/4 (19mm) saves the day!Looks good, comes with rubber washers to reduce "clank, clank", built like a tank (tank). Expensive for what you're getting but the less time laying in the mud trying to hook a tow strap up the better - will be worth every penny next time common sense gets overridden by the desire to see what's just up over the next rise.Safety note - never, ever use the "tow truck hook" that the Subie's come with to unstick one from the mud. If you are loading it on a trailer slow and steady, no problem but you'll probably pull it straight out of the bumper and implant it in the tow vehicles window if you try to snatch one out of the mud - don't ask how I know...

While the product is study and feels quality, the coating/paint has faded from bright red to pink over the 3 months I've had them. I do like the color pink, but I'd have ordered that if I wanted that.
