It's about an inch in length more or less, I don't have them with me at the moment, but I will repost a more accurate answer as soon as I can.

Flat posts, with squared-off edges hurt my ears. These look like they might be rounded off. Are they rounded or squared off posts?

Hi. These post are a bit rounded. These post flop around and hard to get in your ears . Once you get the post in your ears they can move up and down and left to right. They are not stationary at all. Very flemsey post and catch. I love the size and they are very light weight which is wonderful. But I would not ever buy another pair because of the clasp and post.

Can you take a shower with them on?

I don't wear any jewelry in the shower; however, I don't think it would hurt them if you did. By the way, these earrings are very well made and much nicer in person. I think you'll be happy with them.

Are they a heavy earring to wear all day?

No, not at all. They are lightweight. Very comfortable to wear all day,
