I purchased this item the end of summer 2022. It fit our 2019 Tiguan perfectly and has been a great cover. We use it while the car sits on a lot while we are driving long haul. It protects from the sun and rain and has been great. The end of June 2023 we came back home to find it split down the middle and laying on the ground around our tires. The wind had demolished it. I contacted the seller to inquire about a warranty, send pictures and they were right on it. Quick response with an offer to replace or refund. It had been almost a year so I decided to give them a second chance. I had the new cover within a week and it’s great!! Would definitely purchase from this seller again! Their service is phenomenal.

I live in the California Desert and needed a car cover that would protect my car from blowing sand, extreme sun and high winds in the Spring. This cover met all of those needs for me. It stays on the car in high winds, and the shiny skin on the cover reflects the sun's rays well, keeping the inside of the car cooler and protects the car's finish. The only flaw that I've seen is the zipper on the drivers door side which allows entry to the front seat without having to take the cover off of the car. While this is a nice feature, the zipper does not appear to be highly durable. So far, I have not had a problem with the zipper. All in all, this is an excellent car cover for the price and I would purchase it again.

EDIT: The first product that I received was in fact the WRONG product. The seller had to work out the issues with AMAZON fulfillment, apparently. I returned the product and received a FULL refund. Thank you for that. Not only that, the seller even went a step further and sent me the corrected product, complimentary, for my troubles!! That is awesome and thanks again. I would give the seller 5+ stars, but this review is about the product.Still not sure about 5 layers! There is certainly a shiny outside, and the underside is a soft cotton-like layer. The cover seems quite durable and even with a little bit of stretching capability. I wouldn't push it; you might tear it. As for the waterproof ability... well... I'm not sure but it seems somehow water is working it's way through. I need to observe it more (and thus wait for the next rainy day!) to see if maybe it's coming through the seams.Overall it's a decent cover (especially for that price!) and superior to what I've seen at the box stores! I feel confident that the seller is more than fair and will accommodate you if you are unhappy. I think 4 stars is a fair score.. Make sure you get the right product! It's definitely shiny outside, and soft inside.My previous review:I'll give the seller the benefit of the doubt here as I must have been shipped the wrong product. The cover I received looked just like the picture, however, was clearly NOT 5 layers, unless they are microscopic. It's 1 very thin layer of shiny material. I even asked the seller about this or if it was the wrong product and got this response:"This fabric does use 5 layers of fabric, but due to the production process, it is difficult to separate each layer of fabric.The innermost layer is covered with cotton, but it is difficult to show on the touch."Now again, the seller must be mistaken, or I got the wrong item. I promise you this material is ultra thin and cannot physically be 5 layers... not even 2 layers. A plastic sheet would have been better. Either way, this product that I received is NOT as described. I used it 1 night, on my AMC Javelin, because I knew it was going to rain and I had the windshield out. The Rain went right through it!!I'm sorry to have to give such a poor review, as I really did have high hopes for this product. My review is not a reflection on the seller. Purchased this for my 4door Jeep Wrangler.It’s a good, snug fit. The mirrors don’t line up exactly, but I don’t find that to be an issue as I push the mirrors in when it’s covered anyways. The quality appears durable enough to hold up for awhile. I will report back if I find it to be a fail.I was fortunate to get this while a coupon was offered, but either way, at this price, I consider it a bargain. We’ll see how this thing holds up over a SoCal summer , but judging from the quality I am counting on having no issues. I personally like this material compared to the all-fabric style I had previously. It strikes me as more “NASA- Approved” -but that just my opinion, no real science to back that. The reflective strips are a nice feature. They add a level of safety not necessarily included on other covers.

I shouldn't complain due to the cheap price, but now i kind of regret it. I went with the dimensions the car manufacturer gave me. Bought the appropriate size, and it doesn't fit so well. Last few days it has been windy and I found one side of the car to be lifting a few times and not be covered from the lower half down. The cover moved a few times even with the 2 straps being tightly clipped on. I have pulled the cover back down on that side and retighten the strap. A small annoyance but it's the price I pay for.Pros: Cheap, has driver door zipper that allows easy access inside, material feels good for outdoor use.Cons: Universal so fit isn't great (It was small, even going by their size), straps aren't in the most effective locations to hold it down.

I have purchased two covers, one for an 2 door coupe and another for a SUV and used outside in our Canadian winter climate. In the winter and shoulder seasons the melt and refreezing of snow to ice can destroy other covers that allow moisture to penetrate the fabric and to car surface. The exterior of the fabric sheds water and ice easily and can be removed and reinstalled easily in the cold without freezing to the carThe reflective trim at mirrors makes it easy to determine the front of the cover for installation.The reflective outer membrane makes a significant difference in solar heat in the summer and also reduces the amount of snow melting back into ice on sunny winter days near freezing temperaturesThe zippers are quality and have survived operation in the cold when frozen. The front and rear straps are robustly sewn to the fabric reinforcements and have withstood significant wind events.Intend to stick with this design for additional covers or replacements in time.Request the company please offer a product that will fit extended wheelbase pickup trucks with toppers.
