Woodturning Evolution: Dynamic Projects for You to Make

really cool book with really neat ideas. David springett is one of the most creative woodturners I can think of. I love his books and this one is no exception. I really got this to figure out the process, which is very neat-but simple enough to replicate. Once you figure out how to do one, the rest of the book is a bit repetitive, but it is still fun to read and get some inspiration.

This is a really interesting book. However, many of the projects are a re-hash of the first few projects ... sort of like a "variation on a theme" ... but once you understand how to do the first few, the rest are reduntant. But, all in all, its a nice addition to a woodturner's library.

Technically challenging projects but none of the projects are very useful.

Although I haven't had the "nerve" to turn any of these objects, the book still inspires me to try. Leading up the my first attempt will be a review to techniques used in the book so that once I feel comfortable, I will try to turn some of these magical beings.

Great opportunity to look at some new twists in turning.

This book is wonderful, a total different approach from other books, very well illustrated

Great ideas, good illustrations and ideas for wood turning and coloring. I've had a course from Nick and this book certainly amplifies that experience.

Great woodturning projects and really informative photos to talk you through the stages. Not for the beginner. I’m on my third project already!

I have seen Nick Agar work on several occasions. He has inspired me to try different wood turning and finishing techniques. He has a wonderful knowledge of his craft and is a good teacher. This book was purchased as a gift for someone who is also a great fan of Nick's and who enjoys woodturning.

Bought this book for my Dad, he said it is very good and has the things in he wants to make. So very happy thanks.
