GREAT magic kit, easy to use!

I bought this magic set for my 8 year old stepdaughter and she absolutely LOVED it! It comes with everything a new magician would need like a top hat, a rabbit, a wand, and many magic tricks. It did not take very long for her to learn the tricks and she was showing them off to everyone! We added a magic cape that we bought off Amazon and she was all set. She has put on magic shows at school and some of her friends birthday parties. This is a great product for the money, try it and you will not be sorry!

My young son loves magic and this is a great basic set

My 9 year old son loves magic. He enjoys watching the various TV shows that demonstrate magic and also show how the tricks are done. He wanted to do some tricks himself. This is a great basic magic trick set for a young child interested in magic.The tricks are easy for a child to perform, and they get much pleasure from performing them. None of these tricks are really great tricks. In the sense that you would never pay a cover to see them. The magic hat is very cheesy, but for a young child, it looks like a magic hat, has a pouch to hide a fake bunny (included with the set) and lets him pull a rabbit out of an empty hat. What more can a young child who is interested in magic want than the simple pleasure of feeling like they are a magician?I wouldn't recommend this kit for children much younger than 4. As there are a number of small parts, and it could present a choking hazard. A lot of the magic, is in the imagination of the child. As I mentioned the hat, and related wand, wouldn't be credible for a professional production. However for a young child in a play or living room, they are more than sufficient.

Bought this for my daughter because she wanted to be a magician. Thought this was a cute kit for beginners. Contains basic stuff you can pretty much find at a Barnes and Noble (if you browsed their kit selection). Kit didn't last long, she was mostly impressed by the hat and stick. Those were cheaply made and fell apart pretty quick.

She loved the the magic wand and hat

Package arrived as expected. My granddaughter was excited to received this gift on Christmas. She loved the the magic wand and hat. Those were big hits. Time will tell if she will learn to do any tricks.

cute but not what he wanted

My boy loves magic. I thought this would be perfect but he didn't really like it. The hat was to small and the stuff was some what babyish. Would be great for 4-8 year olds

Fun and Easy to use!

I purchased this set and another for my ten year old granddaughter for Christmas. This one was her favorite. Fun, easy to use and she loved the puppet bunny. So did the rest of us!

I am giving this 3 stars for the top hat, it is pretty cool. The rest of the stuff is a bit on the cheap side and not as sturdy or interesting as the Melissa and Doug Magic sets.
