Works great. Would be nice if you could adjust the brightness, very bright, too bright. Other than that I really like it.

I needed something for the basement to measure the temperature and the humidity level. After an exaustive search I found this Lacrosse Clock. The settings are spot on. The Led has huge numbers that I can see without my glasses on. For a basement family room this works perfect setting on a sound bar at the corner of my tv. At night it appears that the clock is sitting within the bottom left corner of the tv channel. Works real handy to control proper heating for the cold winter days. I am also able to monitor humidity for summer dehumidifier use. An excellent product and not to costly. Doesn’t use batteries as it’s a power cord that plugs into the wall or surge protector outlet. The brightness is easy to adjust. Also, a nice feature is the settings to turn brightness on and off during certain periods of the day. Finally, there is a space for a battery to use in case of power outages. Nice product.

The large white digits of this clock are generally easy to read. The clock is easy to set. It has a DST function that makes it very easy to change the hour of the clock when DST begins and ends. However, the curved design is a gimmick. Combined with a very reflective lens, this can cause annoying glare. You might consider looking for an antiglare film you can apply to the lens. The "automatic dimming" feature is time based: You set what time it is to switch to dim mode and what time it should switch back to full brightness. Of course, the time that you want that to switch is forever changing with the seasons. Why can't someone make a clock of this size that dims based on ambient light in the room? I guess they could, but it would drive the cost up $3. Backup in case of power failure requires a lithium battery (not included), and should be replaced about once a year. The clock also has temperature and humidity displays. I don't have laboratory calibrated meters to compare this clock's reading, but the temp seems fairly accurate. It does, however, read a degree higher when the display is at full brightness. I guess the temperature sensor is located where it is being influenced by heat from the display or its circuitry. The humidity readings seemed inaccurate to me, but again, my comparison devices may not be accurate. I did not test the alarm features. All that said, I like the clock: its clean white display is easy to read, even across a large room. It's easy to set. Keeps accurate time. The style is also clean and doesn't take up a lot of room wherever it's placed.

We finally upgraded to a newer Comcast/Xfinity 4k DVR box and this newer model does not include the clock on the front of the box. We didn’t realize how much we depended on that clock in the living room until it was gone. This has been a fantastic replacement for that purpose. It is larger than the old DVR box clock, the entire display is probably a little larger an a dollar bill, but its not a bad thing. The brightness adjustments are also useful and the USB for power gives you some versatility on how you want to power it. Only thing that would make a great thing better would be if it set itself like an atomic clock after power outages or time changes. But thats not something it is supposed to do so it does not detract from a perfect 5 star rating that it deserves.

It's accurate, it keeps time and I appreciate being able to set it to 24 hours. The thermometer seems accurate. The curved surface can be difficult to see if there's any kind of glare. The biggest negative though is the brightness. I bought this to use as an alarm clock in my bedroom. It is so bright that it lights up my room. It does have the ability to turn the brightness down, but it's still bright enough to cast shadows.

I got this almost two years ago to put under my TV since I no longer have a cable box (that tells the time). I like it's larger display of the time. It's super bright, but it does have two brightness setting and dim isn't too dim. The brightness is only an issue when the power goes out since it doesn't save the brightness setting you put it on. It keeps mostly accurate time, better than the two previous clocks I tried. Every maybe 6ish months do I need to adjust the time because it's a bit slow and that is taking short power outages into account.

I was looking for a clock with just some basics (time, temp & humidity.) I didn't want the floating clouds, moon phases, date or year, etc. Those are all distracting things in my opinion and only make the time harder to read. The clarity on this clock is AWESOME! I actually had to set it down a level because it was so bright. Without all the additional features, the time is double the usual size. The temp/humidity are also very easy to see from all angles. There's no blinking or movement on the screen, unless of course a number changes. Even the stand and frame are nice. You can press down on the buttons without the clock sliding around. As the room gets a bit darker, the white frame starts to appear as a dark grey color and is barely visible. Just a cool and appealing clock all around.

This is a nice attractive clock. Very visible. My main purpose was now that most tv boxes no longer display the time on them to put this near my tv. My main gripe with this clock is that for the money I think it should be atomic. This is my fault that I searched for atomic clocks in the search bar or Amazon and when this came up I just thought it was one o didn’t notice it wasn’t. My fault for not looking at the description of the item more closely. Still a nice clock though…just missing a feature that I had wanted.
