The media could not be loaded. I've been suffering from allergies for as long as I can remember, my sinuses are terrible and I constantly get sinus infections. These last few years have been especially terrible, I wake up with sinus headaches and everything seems to aggravate my allergies. I also seem to have a nose like a dog, I always seem to smell things no one else can and these things easily trigger migraines for me. I've tried many things over the years. I take my prescription nasal spray and an antihistamine religiously, use nasal rinses and saline sprays. I sometimes wear a mask to defend against allergens and have air purifiers running constantly. I even started using a nasal spray with cayenne (hot pepper) to aggressively clear out the congestion.I am so grateful I came across these Vapor Soothers and gave them a try. It gives me such long lasting relief and has drastically cut down on the other remedies I normally resort to. After trying the first one, I was finally able to rest well throughout the night and woke up without even a trace of a headache. My husband woke up sniffling and blowing his nose as usual. I took a deep breath through my nose and showed off to him how completely clear it was. So he decided to try it too and was amazed at how soothing it was.The clip is really easy to put in and take out, but stays in good once it's in. It's also very comfortable, I often even forget I'm wearing it and I'm usually sensitive to things like that. It's truly discreet as well, I hardly ever notice it when my husband's wearing one. I notice it a little more on my nose for some reason, but I just like to pretend it's a cute little nose ring and don't mind at all.Sometimes if we're already congested when we put one in, the congestion will break up and we'll have to take it out to blow our nose a few times before it clears up. That just shows how well it works, and once it's clear it remains clear for as long as we keep the clip in.Soothing is a perfect word for it. I got the peppermint one and it blends very well with the menthol to keep my breath feeling cool. As an added benefit, I've noticed the peppermint does work well to stave off hunger so I snack less in-between meals. I take mine out before eating anything.When I do feel like taking a break from it, I store mine in a small plastic bag so I wont lose it and to keep it fresh and lasting longer. It does slowly weaken over time but easily lasts the advertised 14 hours, usually longer for me. It starts out strong and occasionally it does sting the underneath of my nose a bit, but only for the first few minutes and because I have very sensitive skin. It's still not bad at all and certainly beats spraying extract from hot peppers up my nose. I'd say it's well worth it.And finally, I don't have to suffer other strange smells anymore. When the clip is in, that's all I can smell and it's such a relief. Overall I'm in love with this product and can't wait to try out the other scents too.I'd also like to add that ScentTech's customer service is awesome. They responded quickly to my problem and more than made up for the little mistake. So I'm a very happy customer.

First, I've noticed a number of reviews from folks who are sensitive to the "burning" sense when they wear these small devices (that same sensation many feel when they apply Vicks or Icy Hot to the skin). So, while I don't doubt those reports of discomfort, i have to say I feel no "burning" or other unpleasant feeling when wearing these plugs/soft clips. I got them because I've become very tired of waking in the middle of the night with a stuffed nose that then runs all day - I'm constantly blowing my nose. These are great - they're hardly noticeable for others to see, the menthol smell is clearly there, I'm able to sleep through the night and am not blowing my nose all day. These are a keeper!

Initially it was very strong. Actually irritated my nose with a burning sensation because the oil scents are so strong. Had to let it air out a day. Was less irritating but could only use it briefly due to the burning sensation. By day 3 it was more tolerable for me. About 4-5 days later was able to wear it and not have the burning sensation. The scent lasts a while, more than 12,hours, just slightly weakens each day.If you’re going to wear it in the OR, I suggest a trial run. It will be great in preventing funky smells during surgery. But, the strength of the scent / burning sensation can be a problem. Not to mention the funky feel of an object in your nose under a mask.I think this is a cool product. You just have to get used to it. I’m glad I didn’t just pitch it in the trash and made myself to give it a chance.

They work fast!

I was excited to see these vapor soothers to help with breathing at bedtime. Also I expected to have more vapor or scent of menthol and the herbals. But the scent is so light it’s almost non existent. Lastly, it takes a little while get used to this little septum clip but after about an hour I forgot all about it. My recommendation would be to add more menthol and herbal scents to be effective. Overall, the size is right- it’s very small and light. The comfort was fine once I got used to it. The ease of use is A+- just pop out of the bubble package and place at nasal septum. These amount to about a $1.00 each, which would be a good value if I had more vapor that lasted longer. Did it make a difference in my breathing through the night? I’m not sure.

I honestly did not know what to expect when I ordered these. I suffer from daily congestion and when I ordered these I was in a desperate state of pain and wanting to put an end to the sinus pain I was experiencing. This was one of the items I chose.So... the little box arrives and inside is a blister pack of little silicone-type U-shaped things. On each end is a little ball that is inserted into your nose and there's a strip that goes across your nose to keep them together. When I punched it out of the blister pack, I immediately smelled peppermint. I put it in my nose, inhaled deeply, and I could breathe. The peppermint essential oils release into my nostrils, opening up my nasal passages. The tiny balls help to open my nasal passages up a little more, for air flow. I walked around my house and no one could even tell I had anything in my nose until I told them. In fact, right as I am typing this, I am sitting in my office at work and no one can tell I have them in. The strip that goes across your nose is so small, you can't hardly tell.Last night I slept with one in. It stayed in all night and it wasn't uncomfortable and didn't hinder my sleep in any way. For me, it helped me sleep since I could breathe easier.So now I want a set of every scent - the Lavender, the cinnamon and I think the other one is Wintergreen. I want to have these always in hand for congestion, or to help me sleep, or both. I can't wait to try the other scents.Thank you, Vapor Soothers. I'm now a big fan!
