TOO LARGE! I was going by the review that said the boy was 11 1/2, but on the smaller side and a 12 fit him. My son is the same age and slim. The 12 fit him like a 14. It was so large that I returned it (which was very convenient and hassle-free) and I reordered a size 8. It was a perfect fit!!!! Do NOT order your exact size. However, if you need to return it is the best return process and refund I’ve ever experienced. I didn’t even have to package or print out the lable. I only had to go to a ups store and they took care of it ALL!

I bought it for my 7yr old who is fairly tall for his age. He is 54in and 76lbs solid but thin. He is usually between a 8-10 or a 10-12. The 10-12 I ordered was big and a little too long! But it was a good looking suit! He got many compliments!!

My 7y/o son got so many compliments on this suit he wore to a wedding we attended. I did hem the pants a bit but only because I wanted them a bit higher than his shoes for styling purposes, otherwise the length was perfect for him. I bought a 10, he’s 4’6” and 85lbs. Tried the 12 and it was a bit too long. He is solid and has a bit of a mini tummy so the jacket was snug around the waist but the pants and vest fit great so he just wore the jacket open.

Adjustable waistband works great for slim kids. The suit material is very comfortable and wears well. Looks like a more expensive dive wool suit but without the price tag and discomfort. Lots of compliments.

Everything about this was perfect. The fit, style and fabric. My 7 year old loves this suit and he got so many compliments on how nice he looked. Highly recommended for the quality and the price!!

This was perfect for a wedding. We chose to layer with a navy t-shirt instead of the shirt and bow tie and it was perfect. It was comfortable for my 4 year old and he did not complain wearing it.
